I think I would rather buy 2 extra batteries...

It's like a tanning booth for a PSP.

Either that or you're shoving it in a toaster.

I do not approve of this design.

the protective faceplate is a good idea, but how is brushed aluminium a good look for a glossy black console? Black/smoked plastic please.

BTW, is that charger thing also a big battery pack too? It is a bit large, but I could see myself using that on a plane trip for protection from hand luggage + extra life.

Man look what the hell did they do to that psp with the faceplate, it looks crusty as hell. The damn "NY" from Sony are missing on it and look at how scuffed it is lol. If they really want to show how well that faceplate works they should take it off and show us a perfect pristine screen. One thing that does show me though is how a psp can age on the non gloss plastic parts, the silver parts are just silver painted which is a minor letdown.

The 'PSP' with the faceplate isn't an actual PSP but a mockup I believe. The most obvious indication being the DC in connector area as well as the fact that all the indicator lights are painted on onto the fascia.

.k

Yes, the thick-ish case (not the one with th speakers) has a built in battery pack. This may just be conjecture, but according to the name "charger case" I'd beleive you'd store the PSP in it wich would stealthly recharge the battery while it's in transport so that it's always fresh when you take it out of the case, IMO< the idea is brilliant, but it could do without having the controls molded into the cover.
