It looks like NYC has approved a pilot program for officers to start wearing body cameras.
It's interesting how the study on this programs success in another city shows that both officers and civilians both seemed to act more "civilized" towards each other. With the reason being both parties knew they were on camera. Also the fact complaints against the police went down is interesting as well.
