Doesn't mean it shouldn't have happened.

We are so far from a Constitutional crisis. It's going to take a lot more before we even think about using war to resolve our problems. If/when our system of checks and balances fails us and our Constitution is violated then let's play armchair generals.

Wait, people think that he might actually call for a civil war?

Not even oppose/disagree with his appointment or warn of action pending CIA reports, but just announce a civil war?

Is this real? How far down the hole are some of y'all?

I thought Palmer Luckey got under fire for donating to right causes.

Ah, so after the Senate approves the electors vote for Trump is when we should paypal in our $300 for a substitute draftee.

I don't know how many of you are serious but some of you really want to throw away democracy and the constitution just because the wrong candidate has won?

Yeah It's pretty profoundly stupid, a president doesn't just call a Civil War or something.

Who's throwing it away? We need to save our country. It's been undermined by foreign influence and corrupt right wing efforts.

"After Netflix announced they were going to push Civil War onto Netflix on Christmas Day, it finally got me thinking after all the events that's transpired this path month. 'Maybe we really should have a civil war.'"

Thus was the declaration of The Second American Civil War: Deuce Bigalow.

The only thing America can do to Russia is sanctions at this point. They aren't gonna go to war over hackusations. Doesn't matter what anyone says. And even sanctions are probably a big question mark because Obama needs to get all of Europe to play along for any of it to truly work. Plus Trump will most likely kill any sanctions Obama tries to implement. I remember reading somewhere that Putin has the most secret parts of Russian government using typewriters too so hacking Russia in retaliation will probably be a waste of money anyways. This Putin fellah is ahead of the game. U.S will probably need a lot of cyber help to take him down. A coalition of some sort maybe.

I suggest watching White House press conferences this week, & Trump's Twitter response. Smooth transition isn't happening.

It seems that this entire week has been leading up to this. CIA leaks, WH getting more vocal, Trump not acknowledging Russian interference.

From what I am hearing, @POTUS has determined that orderly transition cannot be accomplished and is no longer priority due to Trump/Russia.

Could be something here.

Jesus Christ.

Obama in full blast, I wouldn't know whatever to be thrilled or frightened

"just because the wrong candidate has won"

You're leaning way too far into the notion of politics as team sports if you think people are calling for war over a loss.

And I'm not one of those people to be clear, but come on.

No, the deciding factor will not be how a document is treated but how people are treated.

It would be cool if he was like "when I get back from Hawaii, I won't be the president. I'll be America's first king."

The people calling for a war probably aren't imagining they'll be the ones fighting and dying in it.

I don't see anyone earnestly calling for war. That said, if it came to a war with nazis and racists I would fight and likely die in it. It's in my blood, what can I say?

Hey, I remember you.

Syria is the last bastion against the US for the Iran, after this war the Iran/US war can begin. I hope Iran will send troops to syria and russia will deliver more weapons too assad. I hope the U.S. will get a bloody nose.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of Patriots and Tyrants."

Not that I would ever want a war to tear apart my country, but God knows what will happen under Trump...

"Obama press conference tomorrow will be the biggest event in American history... If he does what it's looking like. I'd watch."

Holy shit.

This hyperbole is hilarious. Biggest event in American history? So...we're just going to ignore the Revolutionary War, Civil War, the expansion of the country westward and the consequences of that, any of the amendments that redefined the experience of people living in this country, and many other events?

Unless Obama reveals himself to be an alien and that aliens have taken over the US (or the equivalent with a foreign country), then that guy has lost it.
