Skyblivion still pretty much has an advantage over the remake/remaster:
Mods are not supported for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
This here is the key difference. No official modding support does not mean modding isnt supported

If you are experiencing gameplay issues while playing with mods
TBH at this point I have a hard time trying to think what you could mod into the remaster from a a graphics, ui and gameplay experience. Unless you gotta have massive big titty goth anime girls in an environment that doesn't make sense it doesn't make a difference lol.An Elder Scrolls game without mods?! What's the point?
Custom questlines, animation and combat changes, altered magic systems. Most will focus on visual mods. After all who doesn't like an actual Lusty Argonian Maid?TBH at this point I have a hard time trying to think what you could mod into the remaster from a a graphics, ui and gameplay experience. No John Cena music, no saleSo they removed the only good thing about the game, uhm.
The remaster will be as moddable as OG Oblivion was. Even all the old tools should still work.
I mean even the Skyblivion guys might able to switch over to the remaster.
Plus Immersive, companions, more enemies, npc redesigned, more spawns etc etc.Custom questlines, animation and combat changes, altered magic systems. Most will focus on visual mods. After all who doesn't like an actual Lusty Argonian Maid?

what this actually means is that there are no mod tools.
every game supports mods, it's just a question on how hard it is to create and install mods.
Resident Evil 2 has no mod support, that didn't stop people from putting Thomas the Tank Engine in the game to follow you around.

Monster Hunter Wilds doesnt support mods either but that didnt stop people from doing some really weird shit
* OFFICIAL MODDING via official tools *
Nothing stopping from third party / fan mods.
Draugoth update this to the OP please.
CopeSure it does, if it's on PC. It will be moddable, just not officially. Consoles? Sorry, console bros.
Cope what? It's on PC, it will be modded. If you don't think it won't be, then you're either someone who doesn't understand PC gaming or live under a rock.Cope
It's an unreal engine game. Would take a lot of work for devs to enable creation engine level modding to UE. Not sure if it's even possible honestly. This is why those "BFS pls switch to UE5" comments were so retarded. That's what i was not wanting to read!.
