Every now and then I think about that segment where she got on the mic and tried a comeback, and I cringe... very hard.
This makes 0 sense.
He was able to easily switch between a very good ground based submission style (almost Brett Hart-esque) to doing moonsaults off the top rope at the drop of a hat. He was fantastic at everything, he sold like a champ and he was super safe with the other wrestlers.
Easily top 3 greatest in ring worker of all time.

I think she looked good in her debut due to her having a semi-decent look. Since then she's been terrible.

At the time I was into Benoit, Edge and Christian, Stone Cole, The Rock, Jericho...Kirk Angel just never clicked with me.

I'm not sure how you can be into Benoit and not into Angle. Kurt was pretty much the only person to ever match Benoit in-ring.

Overall as a talent, yeah, Lana is better. She's a better talker and character. But in the ring it goes back to the same argument I made for Cass vs. Jinder earlier. Tamina is bad and boring as fuck and knows barely anything, but at least she's been in the ring long enough to do things at all. Lana is just lost all the time and every single thing she does looks awful. At least Tamina can do a superkick and splash alright. Lana's got absolutely fucking nothing that looks anything approaching alright. They are both awful, but Lana is definitively worse.

The thing is that I don't believe Tamina does things at all. Her superkicks look okay and she bust her opponents jaw, or she falls down and looks like shit. Her splash has never not looked like she was terrified of doing it before it looks garbage. Outside of that I can't tell you anything about her in-ring work despite the fact she's been with the company for 7 years.
Lana's terible but and least she tried at some point and her snap suplex looks better than anything Tamina's ever done.
If they ever lose it and freak out to give someone they've jobbed for years a championship push I hope it's Rusev.
