I love how they're not even paying attention to the match. It's just The Miz and Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme on the mic.

EDIT: All we need is "NO HE DIDN'T!" guy.

I cant believe I laughed at Khali again... I though he'd lost it since the the stuff with McMahon on the phone giving away the million dollars.

I just can't look at Batista pumping himself up in the back anymore without remembering that .gif when Raw was out of control. Anyone have the one where the guy ran in front of him and started mugging the camera?

I really hope they change Cena's gimmick when he comes back this time.

I really like the guy, but everything around him is a pile of crap.

just watched the 4 X 4 (Burning vs Kensuke Office) elimination match from the SEM show in August - Kobashi, KENTA, Aoki & Ito vs Sasaki, Nakajima, Okita & Miyahara, Survival Tag with a hot Korakuen hall crowd.

What an awesome match! Easily one of the best in 2008!!

Got the match on my PMP so gonna give it to my friend at work to watch on his lunch break. Wanna convert him to Puro! :)

Funny how things work. Now that they moved I can watch it in HD.

justin.tv?

hell, usually smackdown is on the internet before it airs in the USA, apparently, people cap it in australia...

I haven't watched a full episode of Raw in over a month. I haven't watched ECW since Evan Bourne's debut, and I don't think I've watched an episode of Smackdown this year!!! I think after 23 years, the wrestling fan in me might be leaving. I still read the results online, though, perhaps by pure force of habit.

Things just seem so predictable now adays. And this is WWE I'm talking about, TNA is barely worth mentioning. It's like a B-Movie version of Russo's WCW(yes it that bad). I happened to be flipping channels and landed on the Double J shoot on Angle(and obvious attempt to recreate the magic of the Russo/Jarrett shoot on Hogan forever ago), and I was shocked at how weak everything came across. But back to double double E, they desperately need to re-merge the rosters because guys are getting prime spots who don't deserve them and it shows.

I think from now on, Monday nights I'll just get really high and put on a random Raw is War episode from 1998. Good times...

RAW Wrestler Shawn Michaels will be appearing at the NHL Calgary Flames game on Saturday, October 18 for 30 mins. He will be outside one of the concession stands meeting and greeting fans.

Off topic, but still wrestling related, but is there a site that sells or shows 90s WCW? Like the ppvs and Nitro and Thunder?

Well, its not the same thing, but you could sign up for WWE 24/7 or WWE online. Both have old shows, and with WWE 24/7 you get old Nitros and Raws as well as PPVs, matches, promos and a ton more.

I may be a shill but for 8 bucks a month, it is a hell of a channel.

Speaking of which just as an update...

Who gets what show in HD?

I can get ECW and Smackdown in HD, but still no Raw.

I get RAW and ECW on HD but no Smackdown. Eh.

As for old WCW shows... I'm sure there are tapes to be bought at eBay. I wished WWE would let us buy shows on their site considering they have the entire tape library. =/

I imagine they'll eventually put out some kind of anthology. I wonder why the WWE or other wreslting promotions have never gone the route that regular TV shows do and package so many episodes on a DVD set.

I think a DVD set would be very expensive for them with printing/shipping costs of multiple sets each month. They also have to pay someone to create the DVD, which would be many times more expensive that simply releasing PPV set. Printing, packaging and loads more shoots up the cost too.

However, seeing as they own the tape library of 1000's of old shows I would love to see them go the iTunes route. If old ECW, Nitro, Raw and Thunder stuff ever went up there I think I would end up being very, very poor.

This probably will never happen with old WWE stuff, as they would also have to pay someone to blur out all the old WWF logo in all the old RAW's, which once again shoots up cost, and eats into possible profits.

Nitro/Thunder/ECW also used loads of licenced music back in the day, which would probably have to be cut now, which means more probs :(

I think part of the problem with an iTunes setup is they already provide the content online on their own website. Not entire episodes mind you, but its something.

As for boxsets, most TV shows don't run 52 weeks a year with 2 hrs of content a week. Nor do they feature a ton of license music and sometimes even product placement. And really, WWE is so serialized at times, it would be tough to know where to begin and end.

Which reminds me of a pet peeve I have with WWE 24/7 is that they show Nitros and Raws in order, but they do nothing with the monthly PPVs, I think it would be smart if they included them when they show up in the actual shows. I would love to see some of the old school PPVs again instead of looking up results online.
