I’ve had the Elite strap with battery for months. Never saw the battery level individually without clicking on the main battery level. It’s really annoying since at a glance you don’t know if e.g. 80% battery means 80% of both batteries or just the main headset (because the Elite strap battery is out of juice).Does anyone else have a Quest 2 with the Elite Battery Strap and can no longer see the strap's battery level individually in the headset UI? I used to be able to see that, but now I only see the level for the headset and each controller, no separate strap level. Did they combine these into one aggregated level, or is mine busted?

Anyway, yeah - you have to click on the battery icon to see what’s what. No separate battery icon at a glance. If you’re not seeing a separate level for the Elite strap battery after clicking the battery icon, something else is amiss. Charge it maybe?
Yeah that’s weird. Maybe try a reboot.I think I tried clicking on that and nothing happened, but I'll try again. The headset charges when charging through the strap, so clearly the connection is there at least.
go play resident evil 4My gf got me a Quest 2 for X-Mas.
Played some already and was floored, plus I ran over her foot.
It's so much more visually sharper over the PSVR I had and sold a few years ago. Anyways, Since I haven't really had a gaming PC in forever looking for recommendations 1k - 1200 to use the Oculus link , not in a rush because it looks so good as a stand alone. I missed VR the immersion feeling is so great.
On my purchase list lol. I need to get some sleep .go play resident evil 4
anything above the GTX 1060 6GB is okay for VR so 3060 should be fine
You don’t need a FB ACCOUNT!!!I'd love to use one of these to watch a football match. Sitting in a VR stadium would be fantastic.
That said - if you still have to have a FB account to use it then I'd pass anyway.
You can still do it. You need to factory reset your Quest. Go through the referral link and then set your quest up again. I'm not sure it's ok here but I'm sure a lot of Quest owners would give you a referral link if you PM them (including me) since it benefits both sides.i got a quest and made an account but i saw that there is a referal bonus for new people?

The original Quest was still a big step up from the PSVR. The Q2 eliminated the screen door effect from the Q1.That's exactly what the 2 people I know that came from PSVR said. They couldn't believe the clarity.
Not yet. Still have to log in with Facebook.Have they changed the Facebook login yet? Been a while I’ve used my Quest 2 or updated it, but I remember they talked to remove the Facebook login a while ago.
i purchased a quest 1 for someone and two weeks later the quest 2 came out. i had the dk2 and cv1 and oculus dropped support for the cv1. hate the Small FoV on quest and quest 2, maybe i'll get one but i don't see them ever ceding to it.
i know this is a niche opinion amongst VR users but FoV is literally the single most important aspect of an hmd to me (given that the screens are reasonably decent, index level quality at least). narrow FoV ruins the immersion for me and i can kind of get used to it but then the whole experience becomes an exercise in settling for something and not actually blown away by the experience, feels more like a gimmicky game than actual virtual reality.
i know this is cliche to say but virtual reality needs to actually mimic reality and not some glorified view finder. just my opinion
Vader Immortal is so much fun! Enjoy. Also might want to check out the Star Wars Galaxy adventure one as wellGot Superhot, Resident Evil 4 and Vader Immortal Trilogy. Digging in tomorrow.
Already super impressed just setting the thing up and checking out all the various virtual environments on the start screen lol.

Air Link and Virtual Desktop are done over Wi-Fi, and the experience depends on your router and the frame rate of the PC serving the game. With the right setup it works really well with improved visuals over standalone play with minimal latency penalty.I was mucking around in settings and noticed the Air Link ... so I guess you can connect it via bluetooth to your PC to stream PC games instead of having to use the cable? Has anyone tried this, how well does it work?
Loving this game. Art style is cell shaded but its just fun asf
I don't know why they are dragging their feet in this area, I've been hoping for ages now they would finally add a vr camera to a couple of corners of a motogp race so you could watched the races from some really unique places. Sport would give it a pretty good boost in my opinion.I'd love to use one of these to watch a football match. Sitting in a VR stadium would be fantastic.
That half price bundle for the Vader Immortal trilogy is a sweet deal.Got Superhot, Resident Evil 4 and Vader Immortal Trilogy. Digging in tomorrow.

As a VR fan and PSVR owner, I was impressed by my new Quest 2. Playing your PC VR games via Wifi (Oculus Air Link), starting VR instantly without any cable hassle, feeling free and not stumbling on your furniture because Guardian shows you when you're about to hurt yourself.
Bigscreen to watch 3D movies like if you were in a real theater. Skybox to stream VR and 360 videos directly from your PC (a lot faster than copying files on the headset). Playing Half Life Alyx with Air Link. Playing VR poker (pokerstars VR) like at a real table. Everything works perfectly.
I'm more than ever a VR believer. What it brings in immersion is so huge it's obvious it will be a major part of gaming pretty soon. Only question is when it will really takes off. I feel it's starting just now. Quest 2 is a major step forward.
Someone got me an oculus quest 2 for Christmas. While there is I like about it compared to my original vive and psvr.
VR still sucks and have nothing good but carnival games.
The Quest 2 is finally fairly easy to get into (wireless is necessary), but we are a few hardware revisions away from where it needs to be. The field of view, frame rate, and screen quality is so important to having a pleasant experience.
What carnival games collections are on the Quest store? The only one I know of is Pierhead Arcade and that's on AppLab (and actually really good). There are tons of great Quest games:Someone got me an oculus quest 2 for Christmas. While there is I like about it compared to my original vive and psvr.

Do you play single player or are you mostly interested in multiplayer? The game requires a but if patience online as you will run into some people who play it religiously but for the most part the community is friendly. It's definitely a lot of fun if you're ok with multiplayer.Iv got £23 to spend. What’s your thoughts on onward??

Single player is basically a bunch of bots vs you. They just hunt you down. It's ok but I wouldn't recommend it for that.
