I see now Palmer was just saying that's the company in general, and is probably the number the reporter mentioned, but the number doesn't mean what the reporter thought, and no timeframe for DK2 or a consumer kit is currently announced/estimated.Good news, Palmer clarified the story, saying that's about time Oculus VR has existed as a company, "Nate actually corrected me at the time, saying it's actually less, between 18-20 months."
Hopefully they announce the what they will aim for the DK2 at GDC considering they are wrapping it up, not necessarily a release date.
Palmer did say this: "Right now, we're focused on wrapping up DK2 and getting that out to developers ASAP. Good news soon!"
I really hope this means that I can buy one and not just select developers get access.
