Thanks. In addition to what you mentioned about couples and so forth, another thing I can actually see happening in is treatment for something like porn-induced sexual/erectile dysfunction. They've already started using VR for immersion/psychological therapy for phobias. VR could potentially help tremendously with this as well.
I didn't even think of that. That's a good point. I mean the general VR applications for therapy. I am super afraid of spiders, for example, and I think that if I hated myself enough to go into a spider-infested VR space, I actually might get used to it in a very safe place and might be able to carry that back into the real world and stop acting like an 11 year old girl every time there's a spider nearby, lol.
Man, the possibilities for this technology are mind-bending. I was born at the best time. I got to watch all this stuff grow from the moment it became interesting (I'm 34, for reference)
