Short answer: No I didn't check swamped. The discussion yesterday was for me to check out Seath for God targeting or not.

Long answer will come a bit later, but somebody knows what's what...

I was very active yesterday, so if they killed me, town would have a lot of reads to go on.

Likewise, they clearly used the dictate yesterday to limit Zipped's ability, so they're obviously not going to kill him off.

No, leaving too many confirmed townies alive is probably their only chance of losing at this point. Gorlak was still lynchable, and at the very least would keep Zeke occupied (if Zeke is town)

I am going to echo the WTF for Lone Prodigy.

It's the move that doesn't makes sense to me. Why did you not defend yourself, it's not like you were giving up since you knew you couldn't die.

Why let you yourself get revealed by missed lynch?

Do you get better dictates when the people obey or reject?

I had a pre-typed post but it had a vote in it (and some stuff about Gorlak).

What the heck at yesterday. 3 confirmed townies hammer me before I can even claim or adequately defend myself? When scum put me in hammer range? You know that they control 4/7 votes for majority.

My scum list:

Giant Panda
Dragonz

Also Seath's claim doesn't mirror mine, so I'm tempted to vote him out for being a liar, but we can't risk it.

His roleblock was the only action he had remaining. If he targeted the killer then it wouldn't matter if they targeted him or not as block almost certainly has higher priority.

I think this is pointless to talk about though. The only conclusion it leads to is Zipped = scum, at which point I pretty much give up.

There's still eight people left unconfirmed, not counting the two gods left who are wildcards. That's plenty of room for error, especially because I don't think we need to kill the Gods if the win condition is any indication:

"You win when all Followers of Peripseros are dead."

We need more details from Zipped and LP.

Don't put this on me. Sophia put me 1 away from hammer, and Gorlak, who'd be hounding me all day, couldn't resist the opportunity.

LP did right by claiming. Seath was screwing with the votes (and that actually makes me wonder if he's actually the God in question), and I didn't want a no-lynch. Unfortunately, we ended up with that anyhow.

I want to get to the bottom of the obedience PMs. I got another one last night. I want to know if they are from the gods or if they are a player (which could be any alignment).

Personally I am fearing a neutral whose goal is to get power roles to obey them on command usage.

I'm not yet ready to reveal A) whether I did the requested action, B) what the requested action was. And C) if I got any result or a god command block result.

I am specifically curious as to how the dictates work. If they're decided on by the gods, then that provides valuable information, because we can now interpret how people reacted to them.

But any information that LP has would be beneficial, be it as simple as just some reads.

Being night-immune is why I jumped on the Crimson redirect theory.

About Seath:

First of all, he claims he's neutral Periscope. I'm town-aligned and win when Periscope followers are all dead. So I doubt his alignment. He could win with scum and be part of their chat, or he could be a lost-partner type of deal.

Second, he claims to have received a god-killing dream. I didn't get one. OA got one N2. Did anyone get one N3? It's possible the dream was sent to scum on N1 and they're keeping quiet.

Third, he claims the dictates follow flavour and some are random. All my dictates are one word and it's up to me to figure out what they mean. I use one per night.

The above is why I used Eagerness on N1. I was unsure about what my list of commands did, so I picked the first one alphabetically.

Oh and I only send out one dictate per night. I don't know anything about obedience PM's, which is why I doubted them back on D2 when Zipped first claimed. False god?

So do we think these inconsistencies make Seath's god claim less believable? Or do we think he is still Pespi but that lied about some of the details to mess with the town?

We lynched Komena because he claimed he was Peripseros, and people decided not to vote for him. Coincidentally he screwed with the vote which caused us to vote for LP.

The only way it's a gambit is if he's scum and claimed out of nowhere because he knew we'd never lynch him after it. With no way of killing a god I'm not sure what our counter to this is (Zipped I guess).

If he's neutral he's Peripseros

I don't remember Seath being much of a lynch target yesterday... it was mostly between me and LP.

He also can't "screw with the vote" just by throwing a few random votes out. I don't know why you reacted to that but if he does it again please ignore it. This is the only way to deal with living scum.

No result was returned (same flavor as previous night -my view command)

Giant panda asked if I viewed swamped.

I immediately get an "I'm sorry" PM stating that the voice really asked me to investigate swamped NOT *splinter. I was sent the information from *splinter (I.e. Re-confirming that you are in fact not a god).

So I'm asking giant panda if he is a neutral with a win condition or something else. Because no one but the person sending the obedience requests could have known that.

To clarify, the "sorry" is a moderator error?

I guess Panda would have had a similar message after asking about Swamped? (Since he seems to know you checked me as well)

There's no effect for disobeying or not, it's simply an advisory role. I gave a protect suggestion on night 2.

And yes the "I'm sorry" was moderator error. But it appears they corrected it on both sides. And we have this...

I need to go eat, but when you combined that with the earlier inconsistencies LP said about Seath's role, that makes me think Giant Panda is actually the scum God and Seath isn't...

Zipped the bonded please. Can you say for sure that this works as described by Panda? Or is it a single block of text that could conceivably say anything.

(We've seen scum messengers before, and this would be a clever use of it)

What mistake did Pandas make?

That's a pretty huge logical leap. But I don't think we should tie ourselves in knots worrying about the scum God. If we accidentally lynch them then the game shouldn't end and we can lynch Seath tomorrow.

The text has been the same each time (except for the target). It references my time with the military and how our officers and captains were magically trained to issue commands from afar. And while I can't remember WHO I am hearing they sound familiar.

Then it makes the offer for me to change my existing command to the one being offered by responding with "OBEY". Or I can "REFUSE" the suggestion and keep my original command.

I do agree nothing in here explicitly states town, neutral or scum. Which is why I left that up to discussion in my request to find giant panda's role. I have no doubt he has that role, based on what he has said. However his alignment still up for questions.

Also with this being a moderator mistake I'm going to let the information snafu between swamped/*splinter go by.
