Aso, don't forget Wii Rain Check, and the fact that NPD Dec also cover one week in January (which mean it can have shipment from early January production).

The 1.2m number also included the week of black Friday, which was captured in November NPD, and was for all of NA. NPD however extends into the first week of January, so there's a pretty wide range depending on how people accounted for those factors in their predictions. Also, in that thread there was a confusing follow-up from Sony PR. Probably a miscommunication, but it was enough to raise an eyebrow or two.Gadfly said:
