As this Sontaran apparently:

I quite like the new series Sontarans actually. Cybermen need a grittier, creepier redesign.

Brings up a point. If Sontarans are all clones, why do they have different faces?

I'd imagine you could explain that away by saying that those are clones from separate clone-lines - so while there might be many millions of Sontarans who look like Styre, that doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't a separate clone-line full of Stors or Staals.

Mm. Of all the new series revivals of classic creatures, the Cybermen have been the worst. I wouldn't like them to go as far as the Dark Dimension redesign (Wolverine meets HR Giger...), but they are monsters screaming out for a fresh take.

Fair point. Lent credence by the Sontaran at The Pandorica, also played by Mike The Cool Person.

Do all Sontaran's have named beginning with 'ST'? Are there some named Steve, or Stuart?

The Lazarus Project put me to sleep. Literally. I have to say, outside of Gridlock, there hasn't been an episode in this season that I've enjoyed. Please tell me the are about to get better?

42 (the next ep) is pretty solid, and then you get a three episode chain-of-win with Human Nature, Family of Blood, and Blink.

"42" • "Human Nature" • "The Family of Blood" • "Blink" • "Utopia" •

That is a decent block okay to good to Moffat have my babies episodes

The second to last episode is a decent set up for the finale, but the finale pisses everything away

The next four should be a bit more up your street - "42", the "Human Nature/The Family of Blood" two-parter, and "Blink". Then you've got a three-part finale that starts well but ends pretty badly.

S3 was when I stopped watching it regularly, watching well-reviewed episodes only, or episodes with interesting hooks, and avoiding the rest until I caught them accidentally on repeats.

Finale part 2 does that, I'd say? I liked part 1.

Okay, watching 42 now.

Oh, shit. Nice premise to start it off. I loved the last space ship episodes, too. I think I'm going to like this one. Now, if Martha was deduced to a non-speaking role, that'd be even better.

Maybe you are right, I think I am mixing up episodes (I forgot it was a three parter). I pretty much hate the part where it gets very shit.

Simm/Master is so underused by RTD :(

Oh yeah, bloody being both a 2 parter and 3 parter. The final part is where [spoilers]we have Jesus Doctor and the legend of Martha Jones telling a story[/spoilers] and is all downhill.

But it does have the greatest
I'm sorry.

The worst bit about
Jesus Doctor
was that it was a solution to
the protagonist becoming an elderly mute in a wheelchair for most of the episode. Bloody awful.

42 redeemed the season. Fantastic episode. It was a bit derivative from the Ood episodes, but still, good stuff. The scene where the Doctor's eyes became miniature suns was his best acting of the season. Mr. Saxon? He sounds familiar. I'm sure it'll make sense.

...starting Human Nature. Martha seems to know this isn't the right time. Tennant in a graduation hat thingy is hilarious.

You have Auton stuff, don't suppose you have plastic Mickey? :lol

Plastic Mickey? Do you mean Noel Clarke from the whole of series 1? :p

There's just the one Auton. :(

The only thing I actually own is the Cyberman head (from the show moulds, but an exhibition replica) - other stuff is someone else's.

Haha, nice. That Cyberman head is awesome, if I could have a (realistically sized) prop from the show that'd probably be high up the list, even it is a replica.

The Matt/Karen Confidential sexual tension is brilliant though, especially for the scene where she jumps him. Justifies it all. Smoochy smoochy.

Oh I didn't say she wasn't great, and their chemistry is great. I just like Donna a wee bit better. Really thew Tennant's Doctor for a loop I find. She challenged him more than Amy has so far, overall.

It's currently on my bed. The girlfriend is coming up to stay for a week tomorrow, she's asked it be moved. A 21st Century horses head, I think.

Ood photo tomorrow. It looks amazing.

Yeah, waking up next to that might make one shit the bed :lol

"My daughter tells me it's time to move on and accept that Tennant's Doctor has gone. I think it's time I grow up and switch the TV off. I think the target audience of Smith's Doctor is probably more for 10 year olds anyway. I wouldn't be surprised at this rate if the series disappears from our screens, to be honest."

holy shit :lol

"You had to go and fall in love with a human. And it wasn't me."

THAT'S BECAUSE NOBODY LOVES YOU MARTHA. NOBODY.

Honestly that's the only bad thing about Martha IMO. She kept trying to get in the Doctors' pants. Gross.
