Honestly that's the only bad thing about Martha IMO. She kept trying to get in the Doctors' pants. Gross.

I know I've only got one other to compare her to, but for a normal human who is zooming about the universe and time with an alien life form, she just seems so unimpressed by everything except for what's in the Doctor's pants.

EDIT 5: Clearly, I loved these episodes. The epilogue with WW1 was fantastic. These types of episodes really played to Tennant's strengths. The director was not afraid to take off the leash and let him act. He was fantastic in these. I'd really like to see him in another movie or series. The end with the funeral was fucking amazing. Fucking amazing.

I was just thinking, that back when Moffat wrote Blink, he wrote Sally as a possible choice for a companion if he ever got to lead the show. He also probably had a few ideas (back then) as to how she would be work out as a long-term character. However, when the actress then decided not to return, he could have used some of the ideas he had for Amy.

It is not that far fetched that this season story of Amy and Rory could pretty much have been Sally and Larry in a previous script.
