The card game is the best constant money maker. Play at the highest level and bet the most and just don't suck. If I had to average out my winnings I'd say that after a long run I'd be at around 20/21 over the 15 that gains you money.

750 a spin

you can get deep but keep going. once it starts heating up you can get 20-30k pots out of it.

went from 40-50k down to 30k up in about 40 min.
 
Question about online coop. what exactly is that? is that like online story coop or just doing side quests with a friend? I couldn't really find any information to it exactly.

You join your friend's world (or vice versa). And then progress through the story in that world.

EDIT: In other words, everything's the same, except that there's two people. Your friend gains EXP, money, renown (you can set the stats on how much he gains), and he can interact with all NPCs just like you can.

Does anyone know if your actions during co-op impact your single player game? If I'm an evil guy and I go rescue a bunch of princesses in my good two-shoes friend's game, does that change the karma for my character?

(I understand that money, EXP, and items will carry over.)

I thought you're no more than a help for the one in whose world you're going.

So, if you go into my world. Things will affect my world and me, and not you or your world.

I'm taking the plunge. Worst that can happen is I get the game the day of and have them refund my shipping amount for not being next day.
 
I would love to take advantage of Newegg but I dont have a credit card. I just wish Gamestop would start selling the game now that orders from Newegg are going out.

If you get good, Wizard's Tower tournaments are by far the most consistent. Keystone was the most lucrative though in my opinion. I usually played Tower until I got a good surplus and then went big for a while in Keystone.

My strategy in Keystone is put max amount down on the lower 2 on the arch and all of the 3 of a kind dice and then roll til I win. You go into debt usually unless you get lucky but when you win you get out of debt plus a lot more.
 
They just posted notice on their Fable 2 page that "Orders will arrive on release date 10/21".

People have claimed to receive some this morning I'm curious what will happen now.

I think the orders have been processed. I ended up getting my Halo order. If there was a doubt of receiving the item I believe they wouldn't be so confident as the ones who didn't receive Halo were told they were not receiving the item.

So, I guess the game is pretty short if you have already almost finished it. I hope there are plenty of sidequests.

Sorry was making a joke at your Maverick rep. I didn't receive a email actually. The tracking number I have isn't hot yet but that is not uncommon. The item is now deactivated on their site so I do have a feeling they might have really dropped the ball. I placed my order around 9:30ish their time which is Pacific.

I was thinking of getting the LE, but as much as I love Lionhead, £10 extra for the scrapings from my shoe isn't good enough. All that in-game stuff will be up as DLC if anyone's desperate, anyway.
 
Finally got round to pre-ordering the LE. Had a £2 shopto.net voucher, so the LE from there was the same price (well, 99p difference -_-) as the regular edition from Game. Might have to see if I can find the original Fable going cheap to play this weekend... god, I loved that game.

Even if the sequel is just more of the same, I personally will be satisfied... but I know it will be even more. Can't wait :D
 
I did the newegg order a couple hours ago before the product was deactivated and the status on my order just changed to "shipped". I have a tracking number but it's not in the UPS system yet. If it works that's great, if not I've got a few other games that will keep me busy until next week.

This 15 hour talk scares me.

I want to want this game badly. Grinding gold to buy all the businesses in the game is not going to keep me coming back for more.

The 15 hour (I've also heard 12) talk, is supposed to be for if you go blazing through the story, doing nothing else, and basically just following the breadcrumb trail the whole time.

Yeah, I'm not worried at all. I put a ton of time into Mass Effect and I have friends that finished it in 1/4th of the time. That's the way open world games are these days.
 
Sanjuro, what's your status? Has your tracking # gone live yet?

Snack, if you want to, go into a customer service chat with your order number, and explain the situation and see what they say.
 
I should have picked this up when i picked up lbp today. Might go back tommorow. Too many good games this month.
