is there a trick to getting the party animal achievement to trigger? I've given 5 people beers and nothing happens.
More expensive stuff gets them drunk easier, so go with Hoptimus Prime and those other fancy drinks. They don't always get drunk after one drink tho, and some can take more than others. I tried doing it by focusing my efforts on three specific people, but that didn't have much success. So the next thing I did was walk around the pub randomly giving all the expensive liquor to as many people as possible and the achievement popped up shortly afterwards.

Which pub has the expensive stuff?

I have to say this game is really good.

Still, let me take this time to be a little critical.

1.) Like Fable before it, doing really horrible things within your character is absurdly easy to be "forgotten" by everyone. If you are a puritan, you can still hold 50 orgies in your home and slaughter people at the Temple of Shadows and still be back with perfect purity before dinner time.

2.) I wish they enhanced dialoguing systems. As it is, the world seems really beautiful and ripe for exploration, but it always feels like you're rubbing the surface because the deepest a conversation goes is FART, BURP and MIDDLE FINGER.

3.) Better balance for economic issues.

Question for those who have beat it:

I can go get Reaver and Theresa says there's no turning back at that point -- a protip during loading said you could still do quests after killing Lucien... is there any reason then for me NOT to go kill Lucien now and try and do other stuff after?

Thanks.

Nah, it's fine IIRC. You just won't be able to do anything else for the next couple of hours until you finish up the main quest.

Still having trouble with the Brightwood demon door. I have all the right clothes/hair/chops. Given him cheese.

Have tried, as people suggest, walking up with the wrong shit on then putting the right clothes on in front of him. Nothing works. He just keeps looping through those 3 phrases over and over and over and over and over and over and over and

Any ideas?

Strongly suggest not leaving anything half way through a quest. I had one bug out on me completely because of that.

I'm hopelessly addicted to this game. It's great.

Just a question though, how far into the main quest am I? I just
beat the crucible
and I really don't want this game to end....

Good news... the game is far from over when you beat the main quest. I had done that by about 20 hours in and I put in more than 20 hours afterwards. Now I'm planning on making a new char. :)

You're just over half way though, give or take.

You still have quite awhile. You're about 50% through from that point. From that point on is when the game really transformed from a game I was having a lot of fun with, to a game I absolutely loved.

Can you move your family from one house to another?

My kids keep complaining about our current marital home, but when I buy new property and move in, nothing seems to happen. I checked my marital home and there's not option to remove the marital home status or transfer the marital home status that I could see.

It just seems like there has to be a way to transfer your family from one home to another, what with the kids complaining and being able to buy really grand real estate.

I figured out that annoying demon door in case anyone was also stuck. you just have to spam A and it will open. Stupid, as there is no message saying to do that.

You are not alone.

I've been pulling Fable gaming sessions till 4 am and finally finished the main story line last night at 4:14 am. So I'll happily be cutting back on obsessively playing it like I have been the last week and catch up on some sleep.

Yeah, you can move your family.

You have to go to them and make them follow you to the new house, then walk them to the sign and set it as your new Marital House.

Take your wife around town and when you are near a house you might like highlight the contract posted on the wooden pillar and she will give you her opinion on it (dont press A, just focus on the sign). My bitch wife wants real expensive estates :(

Have to work 2 jobs to afford it. Her daily rate also substantially increased

Errr, so does anyone know how this works?

I just got Reaver. I've been given three choices, and I am worried all those side quests I used to be able to do, I'm not able to do anymore.

Have I basically finished the main quest? That was REALLY short if so. =/

There are still quests to complete after the "main" story line is complete, most of the old quests are still available plus some new ones exclusive to after the main story is over. The game is not over just because the "story" is.

You still have to live (play) with the consequences of your choice.

Two of those choices have a fairly adverse affect on your ability to do certain things in the game. It should be pretty obvious which is the smart choice...

They aren't really the same. Zelda is still all about the dungeons and Fable 2 seems to have an emphasis on leveling up, character customization, and exploration of the world and the game's boundaries.

That said there is a ton of things Zelda should take away from the Fable franchise, because exploring the world in Fable 2 is a great deal of fun compared to the wasteland environments of Twilight Princess.

Good point I sure hope they do, with the direction Nintendo's been going lately(ie mass audience\casual\more kiddy) though I think it's unlikly.

HURRAY, I finally found an overworld map for this game after searching every day for the past week. It's certainly not fancy, but it gets the job done and tells you which areas connect and where each area lies in relation to each other. Does it look right to everyone else? I think the map needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the right.

Warning, SPOILERS if you view this map, but it's nothing major, I don't think, just areas you might not have visited yet:

Grr.. I can't seem to be able to have sex :(.

I want to have a kid with the wife before I go on the ships but I can't seem to get the option to engage in the act of love. All I have to do is use the expression "Follow me" and clikc on the bed right?

Help me GAF, you're my only hope.

Go to the bookstore in Bowerstone and buy the "Come back to my place" expression. You'll be sexin like a pro after this.

Thanks for the guide for moving your family! Seems simple enough and it is logical, but it's not something that I saw explained while playing the game. Maybe I missed it, or maybe it was an oversight, but either way, it's taken care of now, fortunately.

I'd love to move both of my wives into the same house, stupid as that sounds. They live on the same street as it is now, just two houses apart. All they do is fight with one another sometimes. Both want to sex me up, both give me gifts, and sometimes they get a little pissy with me and storm off, only to run back with a gift. Sure, I'm a good guy, but seriously, my first wife should totally bail out on my cheating ass. It's a little disappointing that she's faithful to a fault, especially since I can only move one family into the castle when the time comes...at least I think that's the case.

I really don't want to have to kill either of my families, nor do I feel like I should have to go out of my way to drive one of my wives off. You'd think sexing my one wife up in the bed of the other while she watches would be enough to make her split, but alas.

The trials of being a beloved hero, I suppose.

Oh, and I got 180 in the shooting range with the Master Flintlock Pistol. I never did find the Master...whatever the non-flintlock option is...pistol, but I wound up not needing it. So yeah, I have the legenday pistol now, Red Dragon I believe it's called.

I also got my game's hero doll, Theresa. If I can help anyone out by passing that along, I'd be glad to. I also need the remaining dolls in return if someone could be so kind. My GT is NME NVadR.

Ah thanks, took me a while to find the bookshop too. Doh!

Apologies if this is mentioned already, but there is a lot of pages.

I have a question about some of the quests. I'm trying to play as a "good" character, but not all the quests are "good" quests. Does every quest have a good ending and a bad ending? Can you cancel a quest you've started?

There are a few where I've accepted a quest that is clearly bad, and I was hoping I could somehow find a good ending to it. As I play, I suddenly find myself being attacked by other "good" characters, and my only options seem to either kill them (and get evil points) or let myself die.

Is there a way out of these situations? Can I remove quests that seem to have no good to them from my quest list?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure some of the quests are just "bad", but you can easily up your angel-points so don't worry about it. Just buy jewels and give them to strangers; that's now I did it :D

That works :D.

If I see a bandit or someone offering a quest that sounds bad, are there consequences if I just kill them then and there? or would that be a good thing to do?

I thought I'd be "good" and kill the shadow temple priests, but they're all invincible :(

To the right of the dig spot, in the water, is a prompt to dive. That's probably the one you're missing.

Did you find the one behind the waterfall? That one took me forever. The rest are really obvious I think.

Quest in Bowerstone lake, "Charles is missing" or something, if he dies during the quest you can take his hat.
Damn it, is that the only way to get it? I just finished that mission.

The one I missed at first was:

At the top of the hill, just before you dive down into the area with the big tree in the middle.

If you look / drop off the left side (not dive down into the water), there is a ledge there with a chest. It's the opposite of the Silver Key side.

Other than that, here is the list (in order that you come to them):

1. On the beached pirate ship (get there by jumping down after clearing the vines at the top)
2. Inside the wreckage on the beach behind boxes. (get there by walking inside the wreckage)
3. Swim out into the open water, to the left is a small cove with a chest out of view of the beach.
4. At the top, before diving into the water where the tree is in the middle. A chest is on a ledge to the left. Drop down, before diving.
5. Dive spot in the water by the tree in the middle.
6. Chest behind the tree in the middle.
7. Chest behind the waterfall in the tree section.
8. Chest behind a breakable wood wall in the cave w/ beetles.
9. Chest when you drop down after leaving the cave w/ beetles.
10. Dig Spot by shovel next to tree in center.

Also there is a Silver Key on ledge to the right (drop down) just before entering cave with beetles.

Is there something that needs to be done before this quest pops up? I don't see any available quests in Bower Lake atm. =(
