Crap! :( A hobbe got stuck in the roast fire in westcliff, geometry freaked out, and now i can't finish of teh slave rescue. This annoys the hell out of me :( I tried clearing the cache but it wont reset :(

can you not warp out of it? or start another quest to reset it?

Thanks. Fixed. It was so long since I went there I forgot where we set sail from. :lol

Not sure it matters because it's not as if you can travel back there, but you set sail from Westcliff but returned to Oakfield. I guess the way you had it before wasn't technically incorrect since we don't know where it lies in relation to either region.

I'm a completionist. So I want to have every single little thing I can. :lol
The dotted line signifies it's a one time thing. Blue means it's by sea.

Can someone tell me though
The door in the pit in Fairfax Gardens that I can't open. It's the pit by the archaeologist. I haven't been here yet, but my Archaelogy quest is broken so I don't know if it has something to do with that? It's marked by ??? on my map.

You're right, it opens up when you complete the Archaeologist quest. It's just a chamber though. I don't recall the name of it, or if it even has one. I'll look when I get home tonight (in about 6-7 hours) if noone answers before me.

Okay, and..
How the heck do I get to the Demon Door in Fairfax Castle? I can't find a stairway at all! He's down in the circular garden but I can't find a way in.

there's a
passageway beneath the steps outside the castle, and in that passage way is a path to that courtyard.

Thanks! :D

Also, shame the designers didn't put a little thought into the design of the world in regards to the castle...
The sun rises in a terrible place. How am I supposed to watch it every morning from that balcony? Break the stained glass window in the study or something??
;)

My buddy says that his game freezes when he tries to go to westcliff...any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

I've had freezing problems too. Game is buggy, plain and simple.

are all the boss fights like the forest troll one (Lucian's diary)? I hope not, because that was terrible. It just stood in one spot and tossed dirt at me :/

There's not really any boss fights. Closest thing to it is what you already played.

You don't consider
the battle with the commandant in the spire
to be a boss battle?

That, and the aforementioned
troll guarding Lucien's diary
are the only two I can think of. I guess you could consider
the troll at the end of the crucible
a boss if you want.

And, while not a boss, I really like the banshees.

I went in to the Crucible a boy, and came out a man. Damn, I got so much God damn XP out of that place. Love it. :D

Go to bed and hit A.

I fixed the bug where I lost my dog. I slept for couple of days, turned my 360 off, turned it on the next day -viola, he's right there. Thank god.

I'm in
Bloodstone
right now and I'm very, very fucking pissed off. See, I went to the bar, to surprisingly see my wife there, and thought to myself "How did she come here?!". You know what's more disturbing? she was sitting with an asshole. Uh-oh boy, you mess with my wife, I blow your brains off :lol and I did. I was 100% Good, but this reaaaaally itched my nerves. This freaking town made me an evil horde. That T.O.B.Y quest
was a real mind-fuck, I kept stealing stuff from people to the so-called saver until he requested a prostitute, in that moment I went "oh..... sonovabitch!":lol and BLEW HIS BRAINS OUT!

This game, inspite all the bugs, is a masterpiece. Here's my boy;

Go to bed and hit A.

gives me the option to sleep only. I guess I'll just have to kill her.

I killed him so fast, I didn't even realize it was him. :|

The

Do you have the "come to my place" expression? If not you can get at the Bowerstone Market bookstore. It seems to work 100% of the time with wives and whores.

My first wife is broken. After I beat the game
the quest to save my daughter
appeared. But when I ran through the cave
she was there.. then she was gone. And the trail led me back home. When I got home my wife was back to normal, but no longer considered my wife (i.e. no ring over her head, but she still acted like my wife) and my child was no where to be found.

But my other family, well we used to live in Homestead. But now I moved them into our nice new
castle Fairfax
. :D :D

Though when I did the Demon Door
Terry Cotter's Army
I took 10 people with me. Ever since then I haven't been able to find the Town Crier in Bowerstone Square anymore.

I think other than all the Gargoyles I've gotten everything out of this character I'm going to get. I need a guide though. I haven't seen... er heard a Gargoyle in a while. So the last 21 must be off the beaten path.

Your character is pretty badass looking. He's got that upper class snob landlord look that I'm going for. Looks like someone Sweeny Todd would cut open.

All right, here's the deal with sex in Fable 2:

- if someone asks you for sex i.e. your spouse or a prostitute, use "thumbs up" expressions and go to a bed.
- if you are looking to initiate sex with a npc, they must either be your spouse, a prostitute or someone with the traits unchaste, flirty or raunchy. If you try to use "come back to my place" on a non-prostitute who isn't married to you and doesn't have ONS traits aka prudish, you will get rejected with lines like, "I think we should wait until we are married."
- if you're initiating sex, before you can use "come back to my place", you have to get the npc to like you enough. Charm your way through using expressions. If you have the "seduce" expression, that normally gives plenty of love points. Alternatively, you can use gifts as well although being the cheapskate I am, I seldom give gifts when expressions are enough.

When done right, hitting the bed will give you 2 options: protected or unprotected sex. Condoms are required for protected sex, and they can be found in general stores. If you're still getting the option to rest for x hours instead, something is wrong. It could be lag that makes you think you hit "come back to my place/thumbs up" when the game failed to register it, or it could be a pathfinding fault. In either of these cases check that the npc is following you, and make sure they are near the bed you've lured them to. STDs are just part of your character's stats, they have no detrimental effects game play wise.

So, I've been anticipating this game for a year. I never liked the original Fable, but I became a drooling fanboy over Fable II. For the last couple of months I knew my 360 was on its way out. Lots of DREs, freezing, even the artifacting. I kept telling my wife, "As long as it lasts until I finish Fable II." Last night, I finished Fable II and this evening when I got home from work...RRoD. I'm so proud of the little fella. He held in there just long enough so I could finish this awesome game. :D It does suck though, I just bought Tales of Vesperia today in order to keep feeding my RPG addiction.

I just fell in love with this game all over again. I just returned from the
tattered spire... and it's 10 years later. I was in shock when I returned to my cabin in Oakfield and there were like 4 new houses around it! Then I went to the Temple of Light and it was totally built up! So awesome!

I eventually got bored of looking completely ostentatious (True Blue + Liquid Gold Noble Suit / Will User robes), so now my guy wears "Leathery Tan" Explorer Boots, "True Blue" Noble Pants, Leather + Blue vest / shirt.

He basically looks like a well-off cowboy that you'd see at some nice steakhouse. Only with a big shotgun, and a bigger hammer on his back. :lol And no hat, if only because they don't have a fitting one. Though the Highwayman one is my favorite.

Oh, and "neo-Westcliff" is much nicer. Outside the new inn, they had the most attractive character model I'd seen yet, and I decided right then and there I was going to "Pretty Woman" Roz the Whore. :lol Raunchy, Bisexual, Aggressive, Fearless, and some other things. When others run away, she cheers. I'm not an evil character, so I won't abuse that, but I do like that.

1 Hobbes Beer, 1 Eternal Love Ring, 1 Oakfield Demon Door and 1 STD later, I have a newly minted son. He's apparently virtuous and serious. The virtue part I get. This character has been pretty silly though, I thought.

I basically run around town with my dog and play with kids and play my lute and hand out autographs and ham up attention. There is fighting in the game, of course, but I seem oddly preoccupied with the sandbox. As a consequence, I've already maxed out my Strength and almost maxed out my Skill. I don't want to max out Will because the blue lines don't appeal to me, at least not at the intensity I imagine they'll be. I've got 2 spells maxed and it's enough.

I apparently have found an exploit, as well. In the Crucible, when you're done fighting, and you use bonus xp potions, they seem to get the same multiplier - or perhaps its bugged and even a higher multiplier - as you do from the real xp. That's not supposed to happen, or at least it doesn't elsewhere. At any rate, those potions are already way faster at levelling you up than actually playing the game. :lol With bonuses on top of that, and the last potions being 65,000 xp and readily available at the Bowerstone Alchemist...

Well, at any rate the game is still fun. 5 Physique doesn't make you look as ridiculous as the guy in the demo video, though. But it's nice being about as tall and strong-looking as Sister Hannah / Hammer.

nah I even tried selling the warrant, but nothing helped. i tried randomn locking on or using my largest area spell but nothing helps :( and i dont want to start over I like where I'm at so far.thankfully it's only the bounty hunter, it just bothers me it's still open and visible on my screen.

Just finished it and I loved it. I chose
The Family ending against my desire to go for the sacrifice one. I absolutely couldn't bear thinking about playing the post Lucian portion of the game without my fucking awesome dog.

I
picked sacrifice. I immediately regretted it and
started a new game.

This time I'm-a be an evil sumbitch.

Going to start my second game. Going as evil as possible this time through. My first time through I was pretty balanced and ultimately chose Sacrifice. Going all evil this time through.

I save the world and thousands of people in it...and so they stop putting on Sales? :(

Agreed, he does look like a snobby character from a movie... the Sweeney Todd description is great. :lol

Here I have some laying around ......

Started my second game. Going well. It's awesome seeing Old Town vastly different based on the big decision in the beginning as a child. I made the other decision in my first play through. And for some reason I've also come across numerous things that I missed in my first game, even though I spent hours exploring after I had finished. That's what I love about both Fable games. Exploration, and always finding new stuff. Always something to do, something to work towards.

Uh oh, should I be wearing a condom when I have sex so I don't get an std, I'm married to her and she does always want sex. It's annoying having to go back to town every time it says wants sex, service her, then continue my next quest :p I'm thinking about just shooting her in the head and finding some snob wife that will have a headache all the time instead :p

Too bad my character is 100% good right now.

I did the same thing, and had the same reaction. This time the safety is off, the villagers are all gonna get sacrificed and in the end I know exactly which path to choose. :D

My dog will not die!!

I have all the dolls on me right now if anyone needs them.

GT: Pankaksreborn

1.I could use the Dolls. GT Sausageassasin

Also 2. Who
got Lady Gray as a girlfriend/wife? Undead Wife Score FOR THE HORDE!!

Is there any special area that I am missing for the
Treasure Island of Doom
mission in search of
Captain Dread's

Also, those codes from the last page by Fiosguy, are they for the pub games or for the LE content?
