2 questions,

1. where do you get your Hero doll?

here: http://fable2.xbox.com/experience.aspx?lang=en-US

Just click through the entire game if you don't want to go through the story. It is worth it though, but if you're only interested in items the only choice that matters is the 3 crowns at the end.

Information posted by gamefaqs users InfamousDortch1, merciscool:

Fable2.com Exclusive Items List
--------------------------------------------------
Left Crown Items - Lionhead Studios Tattoo & Hero Doll (buy from Old Bowerstone General Store)
Middle Crown Items - 3 Piece Chicken Suit
Right Crown Items - Nasty Expression Book & Vial of Apocalyptic Pink Dye
Chicken Kickin Game - 500 Gold & The Title of "Lord of the Birds

I've read conflicting reports about these items being present in the Guild Cave's chest. If you can't find it there, check out Albion's merchants. I got my hero doll 2 hours after registering (was watching Tougeki '08 VF5r with my friend to kill time...). It could be instant as well, but I only checked back after 2 hours. As for the other items I'm not sure where to find them since I never bothered with them but they should be around in other stores.

so bewarned, it's no joke.
You can still turn her into a hotchick. To get rid of your muscles, strip away all experience from Physique. To make her shorter, strip away all her Accuracy. You don't really need the extra damage from both stats anyway. Eventually I pumped back Accuracy to 1 star as I wanted my hotchick to be slightly taller. ^

How do you get characters to have sex with you? You get them to follow you right and then go to a bed and press 'a' on it? I've done this heaps of times and only once has the protected/unprotected option come up, otherwise it's just the normal 'sleep for 6 hours etc' prompt. Is there something I'm missing?

thanks, but how does unlocking the items in the webgame unlock them in-game? Do you get a code to redeem?
They get put in the chest at the end of the very first Cave in the game. The one at Bower Lake.

I'm having some trouble finding the demon door in Oakfield. Is it in The Temple of Light, Rookridge Road, The Sandgoose or The Wellspring Cave?

Head west from the sandgoose. If I recall correctly it's on a road by the coast.

I still think its funny that Theresa is essentially the same character as Kreia, no lightsaber is about the only difference

You have to target characters that are "unchaste" (check their info). It helps to have the seduction and blow kisses taunt. I also found that you are more likely to have sex with them if you do not lock on (characters have a white glow around them). Instead look at the character you are trying to seduce, they should be highlighted in purple and pick your best flirty taunts from the right bumper. I stole some guys unchaste wife in their own home, to her back to my house and banged her. I don't know if you can get them pregnant if you aren't married but that would have made for a Springer moment if so.

No problem! When you're given a prompt to register after choosing your crown, you have to provide your email that is tied to your gamertag. There are no codes to redeem, it will just be activated once you've signed in to Live.

If you're facing the Sandgoose, there is what looks like an apple orchard to the left of it with a path cutting through, just follow that and it will take you to the coast where the demon door is.

My wives keep leaving me! I got dumped by a fucking barmaid? C'mon! Of course, I murdered her for being such a high maintenance whore and it says my kid was taken into the services. He's still stuck at the door though, not reacting to anything. Poor Lionheart Jr.

does anyone have a cure for disappearing villager glitches?

I hate seeing bowerstone blacksmith sales pop up only to never have a blacksmith be there. I bought the blacksmith, but it seems like the guy hasn't been there for ages. Can't remember the last time I saw him. Infuriating as it was my main source for buying weapons. Fucked up. Utterly fucked up.

and where the hell is my wife????? I attempted to keep an eye out for her every location I go to, but if she could literally be anywhere in the world, fuck that. I just had a threesome with 2 gypsies out of protest over a MIA wife and a zombie daughter.

I dont think I can love again.

What homes have you guys decided to use as 'your house'?

Go to the families option in the menu, select her and set her as a travel destination. You'll get a golden trail to her.

This is not a glitch. It is lag and the blacksmith is taking his time to walk to his stall. Much like Oblivion, npcs in Fable II have schedules. From x time in the morning to y time in the evening is their typical work day. If it is day time and the blacksmith (or any other merchant) isn't at their stall you can fast forward time by 6 hours and check back. Or you can just let the game run by itself for 5 minutes as they stroll casually to their stalls. I've had the lag happen several times with multiple merchants in my game and this is how I dealt with it.

In exactly 30 minutes I'm going to chill at Bowerstone's town square for a bit. Somebody send me a friend invite so I can see your orb, take the dolls, then pass the dolls along to another GAF member.

EDIT: Nobody? I'll try again later tonight.

do you guys use quick travel to get to quests or do you travel on your own? How do you play?
It depends on how close I am to where I'm supposed to be. Or if I just came from there.

I fast travel about half the time overall.

My daughter (First one with first wife) disappeared during the now dead and stuck in limbo "Rescue" mission.
I went all the way through the cave following the line killing Hobbes all the way. Saw her at the end and was like "finally, this shit is over" and POOF! She disappeared. Just vanished. The line led me home back to my wife saying "important message!" When I got there she was all casual like it didn't happen. Like my daughter didn't exist.
Now Alex has lost her ring over her head but still acts like she's my wife and my daughter still hasn't come back.

Thank GOD for my second wife who the game didn't glich. I moved her and my two children into
Castle Fairfax
. The only drawback is because the entire front yard is part of the land my family will wander around the whole thing while I'm gone and come to meet me when I happen to enter the area.
The Castle
should have been a separate area all together.

My other two homes are:
Alex still lives in the middle house across from the clock tower in the Square. Btween the bookstore and the other store. Yes, the bookstore is NOT THAT HARD TO FIND! She has always been my throw-away regret.

Florica used to live in Homestead until I bought the new place above.

I'm not stupid. He is meant to be there during regular opening hours and I haven't seen him in days. My wife is also meant to be just outside minding the jewellry store but she's gone, and my daughter just stands where her crib used to be.

even when I choose my family from the menu, it takes me to bowerstone market square, but no more golden trail. of course that would be the first thing I try. I dont know whats worse, that there is no trail at all or that it thinks she is still in bowerstone market but gets confused when I get there.

Fair enough, I've seen a lot of people unaware of the function.

I was convinced they were the same voice actress. Only to find out Theresa's actress is the woman who played Madam Hooch in the first Harry Potter film.

I'm really interested in this game, but I usually get annoyed by lack of polish in games.

So, what's verdict on the polish factor for Fable 2? Any word on Lionhead releasing a patch to smooth things out?

I'm trying to get corrupt enough to enter the Demon Door in Westcliff but my slider seems to want to stay on 100% pure. I've been stealing from peoples houses, I raised the rent/prices in Bowerstone Market and Oakfield but still nothing....

Help? Please??

Very unpolished.

Make sure all of your property is over priced, plus you actually have to spend some time playing the game for your to be come corrupt? You can always just use the pub games cheat, that raises your corruption as well.

I never implied you are and you've never stated what you've tried until now. One way lag can confuse a player's visual sense is that objects load up very slowly (when I load populated areas like Bowerstone Town and Fairfax Gardens, the npcs load up 1 by 1, not all 12 of them in 2 seconds), so the blacksmith might be there, but you can't see him. Another case I came across is I can target the merchant, but in another odd case of skins not showing up, all I can see is the merchant's name and the option to press A button to enter his store, but his entire body is not present on the world field.

Ugh the doll thing is so stupid, I just traded my doll to a guy who had them all except the Reaver one I had so he would trade them all back. I guess I forgot the fact that this was xbox live and he just took it and left.

Where's the door in Westcliff at?

depends upon how you mean polish. polish as in the plenty of extra little details beyond just the main quest? it's got plenty of polish in that sense, whereby there's tons of character added to the game that a lot of people can miss.

if you mean polish by lack of bugs, well there's definitely bugs here, but which ones you hit seems somewhat random. some people seem to run into lots, but i only ever ran into one of them.

Well, the assassination quest just basically screwed up on me. It targeted my son as the victim and well you can't kill your child... Anyone else encounter such a problem? Anyway to fix it?

No, I've never encountered this. It is a job though, so just ignore it until the time for completion expires or choose another one and lose progress for this until the game randomly assigns you another assassination target.

Sacrifice him at the temple of shadows?

Nope, won't work. Time expires but it stays there at 0.0 left probably since I've already accepted the quest. Unless cribs can walk on their own sacrificing won't work:lol . Seems like my kid is going to stay in the middle of the street for the rest of the game :lol

My Fable II video titled "The Ho Train". I round up about 8 or 9 hoes, parade them through town, and then take them back to my place for some lovin'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EO1nsVbEGPY

"The Bowerstone Massacre". I go from good to very bad in about 5 minutes.

I know the video quality isn't the best, but I worked with what I have. Enjoy!
:lol Ho Train, Awesome.

This game is just amazing. Haven't spent so much time with a game since Mass Effect. I really can't stop to play, so much to do, always something going on. And I'm just playing for about 5 days.

Okay, what about flagging another quest/job? Try flagging the main quest and see if that cancels it; or at the very least allows you to proceed with the main game. If you're not able to proceed with the main quest, I think you should write in to Lionhead, because it seems that you might have just experienced a game breaking glitch. If they can be made aware of your issue, hopefully during the next patch they will fix it.

Uhhhh, WTF? Is that a fucking end-game spoiler?

I haven't finished the game or come to any major plot twists or anything but the character looks the same, acts the same, has the same voice actress...so I expect the same.

Hah good and ironic news. As my wife had glitched and my kid was basically broken, I decided to marry the rather popular Lady Grey. Had a kid with her as well.
As I am playing a good guy, I was rather torn what to do here. I had a wife - kind of - and was rather curious how things would've turned out had I left, would she have gone for him? can anyone who left the room at that point tell us what happens? Do the two of them run off madly in love

Then when I went back to bowerstone market, my wife was wandering around like the old days. She just greeted me like usual, and when I went back to the house my kid was outside for the first time and actually spoke to me. Awww so sweet. But did I miss out any kind of special welcome back stuff? This was the first time I'd seen my wife since the Spire ffs and she acted like nothing had happend.

so yeah then I got the (dont read if you haven't married more than one woman)
blackmail letter for being an adulterer. I found myself now severely attached to both families so I paid off the stooge and hope to one day kill the main guy behind it!
:D

So I just beat it.

I don't know what to make of the ending. Theresa is the hero's sister from the first game (blind girl who sees other realities and is an immortal progenitor of the Archon's family). Is there any reasonable evidence to assume she took the Spire and summarily dismissed you as an act of evil? Is she planning on using the Spire for something else? Obviously you were just a tool for her. I hope we get a Fable 3 that explains some of that. Great ending, IMO.

I was also really pissed that I couldn't kill Reaver. He shot Barnum :(

He kind of made up for it by blasting Lucien for me, but I wanted revenge.

Just beat it. I chose
selflessness because of Hammer's bitching when I chose Love
.

Great game, but what the hell is
she going to do with that spire? :O

Cannot wait for Sequel!
