I stayed up way too late last night playing Hitman Absolution, paying for it today now. I finished the Prologue and a couple sections of the first chapter, and it's fun. The game does have some issues. The AI will sometimes have this amazing line of sight in the distance where they'll see you take down someone else. Also, the disguise system is a bit weird. I like the concept of the new system, as if you get too close to someone else wearing the same outfit they'll recognize you. However that recognition happens too easily. There is a focus meter which allows you to escape past someone that recognizes you, but it drains quickly. In open areas it's almost better to stay in Hitman outfit than grab a disguise. The first man area, King of Chinatown, shows this off. The area is littered with policemen and cooks. I knocked out a cook and grabbed his outfit, and everywhere I went other cooks were picking me out right away. Got a bit annoying. Restarted the mission, stayed in my Hitman outfit, and beat it in like 10 minutes without being recognized. I'm hoping this disguise system gets patched, as I hear some of the later levels are near impossible to get through without attracting attention.
Still, even with the disguise issue it's still fun stealthing around to get to your target.
