I think it was like $11M. Not a huge deal, I have the cap space to take the blow temporarily and can renegotiate it down with a long term deal.
Looking for WR/TE, willing to trade picks.
I'm not sure I actually have roster players people will want, so it's going to be draft picks. So if you're looking to move players, lets say you have a boatload of WRs or multiple TEs you don't use because you're always throwing to Fitzgerald, let me know!

So did we figure out a draft time yet? My team is gonna be fuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkked hard if I can't draft. Holes I'd like to fill via the draft but the cpu will screw it up!

Yeah that is true, draft might have to be delayed due to weather. Hopefully the storm doesn't end up too bad.
Are we doing the Tuesday mock draft still? I wonder how easy it would be to pause to let everyone get their picks in for the first two rounds.

Jimmy Graham isn't showing up on my list of guys to resign even though he is listed as having only 1 year left on his contract (just like every other guy on the list). Am I missing something? I don't want to resign the rest of my guys until I know how much of my cap space he is gonna take up.
Birdman I think guys that have 0 years show up as having 1 year and I think people that still have 1 year that'll you have to re-sign next season show up as having one year. I have quite a few players showing up with 1 year too that I never got a chance to re-sign so I'm hoping that's it.
That might be it, but I'm pretty sure he was showing as having one year left before we advanced to the offseason. I'll get my guys signed tomorrow night...hopefully I can figure this out by then.

How the off-season works:
- Pro Bowl
- Super Bowl / Scouting - You can scout while the 9ers win the SB.
- [Stage 1] - Re-signings (Note: it will tell you that same week if they accept the contract or not. All you have to do is back out of the signing screen and it will be on your weekly checklist.) If your players decide not to sign, you can franchise them or let them go to FA.
- [Stage 2] - Free Agent Signing - A WILD KURT WARNER APPEARS - In this stage, you will shoot your initial offers to FAs. It will tell you who has offered contracts and who the player is thinking of signing with by way of team logos under his info.
- [Stage 4] (skips 3 for some reason) - Scouting/FA offers continued - In this stage, you can scout rookies in addition to offering FAs more/less/no money or signing them.
- [Stage 6] (skip again) - More Scouting and FA offers. You get more scouting points. The same amount you get on a regular week. This is your final week to get offers in or take them away. Some FAs sign early so you might even have a signing or two done.
- [Stage 7] - More scouting, more scouting points. FA is done. Last chance to spend this season's scout points.
- [Stage 8] - NFL Draft/ FA recap - This is where we take speedy, 6'10 running backs with 95 truck and 98 stiff arm. You are no longer allowed to scout.
And that leads us to testing out the draft. I want to hold a mock draft with a few people Monday after the game or Tuesday afternoon/evening.
Things I would like to test:
- Ability to trade during the draft (trade down, up, whatever)
- Web draft ability
- Our connections (including chatting while drafting)
- Starting/stopping draft to increase/decrease the time (helps in the later rounds)
Anyone is welcome to join if you just want to see what it's like or test out your browser/phone if you can't make it to the actual draft. Of course, the picks will be completely blind because you haven't done any scouting, but it's not really about that.The league is called ngafmock. The pass is 'jgar' as usual. The list seems to be confused. I'm seeing 1 year remaining under those who are impending free agents this offseason as well as those who will go into free agency next offseason. None of my guys have 0 years remaining listed for them.

Yearly progression/regression is definitely still in. Except it's hard to tell unless you remember what their attributes were before.
Seems like it, Max Unger was also listed on the website as a 79 and he had been like an 82 at the end of the season. I pumped some XP into him on the website and now he's showing as an 81.
If anyone else changed on my team it doesn't seem to be by much. I think Lynch was a 91 and he now shows as a 93. Unless I upgraded him to a 93 and forgot.
Oh and Zach Miller seems to have dropped from 81 to 79.

There was never a difference before, so I doubt that.
Maybe for some but Champ's man coverage dropped 3 points or so.
In theory you can do it on the website on a players player card. In practice I have not tried this.
Yeah you can do it from the web. Just go to the player's card, view his profile and under the Take Action dropdown you'll see the option to resign him.
It doesn't give you a list of players with expiring contracts though, so you'll either need to know this info beforehand or go into each player's card.

I'll do mine when I get home this evening. I'll have to concentrate on Free Agency since the CPU is probably going to screw me over in the draft.

I did an initial attempt and offered up to the guys who I really need. I think I offered 11 contracts and only FOUR accepted and those were the ones who I figured to overpay by a bit. I am glad that I was able to cut some contract length requests in half or better. Winslow wanted five years I gave him I think three (may have been two). Amendola wanted four I gave him two. In two more seasons I'm hoping to have replacement parts, especially at WR.
I'm really kind of pissed that as it stands now I am losing a starting WR (whatever that fucking means for the Rams) a starting LB, and a couple of other critical backups. I gave reasonable offers but my F rated prestige is killing me. A terrible team that made the playoffs with 9 wins should not have an F rating! The draft is going to be crucial for me, I will rage if rookies don't want to sign with me too due to the F rating.
I'm good to go. I might log in again and maybe re-sign another 2 to 3 guys but I don't really care too much for those guys if I lost them.

Thanks - for Daryl Smith he already rejected my in-season offer, so there's no option other than trade or release. I was assuming there would be an option to franchise tag him on the site.

If anyone is looking for a decent FS I built Abdullah up to an 81 or so. He's pretty good and didn't have too much of a drop from goldson but I can't afford to pay a backup what he wants
