I swear there's something wrong with jersey colors and human matchups. Like if neither team manually selects jerseys then it's 50/50 that both teams will wear light jerseys. I can't play that way, maybe I'm color blind, but I need the contrast.
Yeah I know we restarted our game because I had my road whites and grey alternate pants on and you had white on grey as well.
I prefer the Seahawks grey pants to the white ones, although I screwed up and wore the white ones against Cola. I also wear the neon green jerseys against FMT just for shits and giggles, even though last year he threw like two interceptions to me when I had all white on because he thought I was the ref.
This is the thing I never shown you part two or part three of that play. I guarantee I can get a completion 99 percent of the time against that formation now that I got the timing down. I was specifically working on timing to the outside.
Bringing a 12th man in from the sidelines? Tricky!

I'm honestly surprised that the hit stick is still in the game due to the NFL's emphasis on defenseless players and player safety.
I suppose they could just leave it in and then everytime you flick the stick, you draw a 15 yard penalty.
I lost Treon Patrick due to a hit stick on a slant route which would've been a defenseless receiver penalty in real life.

Not really. He goes down on first contact with a LB 95% of the time. I've been putting points into his trucking but it doesn't seem to help.
I liked how the offense was running in the full house, but unfortunately my defense blows so I once again had to sell out in the passing game.
It wasn't my intention at all, it's just that in the past I've pointed things out and sometimes people get upset when I bring it to light because there's always a tendency for people to then lean on the cheap/exploitable stuff. I'd write up tons of stuff to help everyone out, but I know that some will take issue with it so when I do help people I do it through private means.
So I guess I should just come out and say it because it's what I feel should have done from the get go. Ballhawk is completely overpowered when used right at the snap. Ball is snapped, immediately hold Y, profit. Watch as receivers don't separate, as soon as the receiver is targeted every defender releases from their assignment, doesn't matter if they're facing the target, they cut off and head to the target. Everyone has spidey sense.
It doesn't matter who you're controlling, you can be a safety, cb, lb, maybe even a dt/de for all I know, but if you're holding Y from the get go everyone gets ballhawk. Every defender flows to the ball better, or chases in zone, as long as you sit there holding the Y button like a complete scrub.
Put your defenders in zones, hook zones, hold Y and watch as defenders flow to receivers. In some cases you don't even need two deep coverage, put your safeties in hooks, hold Y like a complete scrub from the snap of the ball, and watch what happens.
We all have trouble stopping out routes in 2 man under with inside tech, which we should, but if you hold ballhawk the angle the CB takes is much better. Right at release of the ball the CB adjusts his angle immediately and takes a great angle to the ball.
In summation, hold Y, become a top defense.

I tried doing that as a safety a couple of times to do a more controlled drop when I move close to the line and it just makes the guy I'm controlling stand still.

They made a big deal about better passing trajectories this year but all I see is the same ol' shit. It's rare that you can make a nice over the shoulder throw without it getting picked off by a leaping corner/safety.

Proxy effects. Holding Y will put you in position and all your other defenders. If you try to ball hawk late it will track late and actually put you out of position. On that first td pass I saw the CB blitz immediately because newson was my first read. Just lucky in that regard because usually it's Crabtree or vd and then I move over to newson

Nope. Just hold it during a run play and watch your linemen intercept handoffs. It's great!

Depending on how you press Y it will either try to manually catch old school style or if you pressed it longer than you intended it will activate Ball Hawk which will auto correct your own pursuit thus putting you in a bad position and/or pause and let them catch the ball and you're toast.

Damn, well I see why you were reluctant to go into details. No way to police something like this. This is very dissapointing though. I've complained in the past about man coverage being so ineffective against certain routes. I stopped complaining when I noticed some opponents getting effective man coverage against me in those same situations so I assumed there was something I wasn't doing right.
Oh well, I hate romo anyway, so all the more reason to recommitt to the run.
