i can't verify it with 100% certainty, but i don't think a team who didn't make the playoffs has ever won the superbowl. as a dolphins fan, that is your life every year. will the 49ers win a superbowl this year? probably not, but it's possible. the dolphins, year in and year out, literally have no chance to win a superbowl. how sad
