Scribblenauts was $20 "on sale" via Steam a few days ago, it's $7.49 on Amazon right now. GMG, Amazon, and Gamefly have been kicking Steam's ass this entire year.

Heck yeah, going to buy Scribblenauts. I didn't realize the game supported Steam Workshop. Was browsing last night and there is a ton of user created characters to download.

FMT - Tonight and tomorrow are touch and go since my family celebrates tonight and my gf's family celebrates tomorrow. If the advance is early today and you are home we may be able to knock it out, if not we'll play it by ear via messenger.

BTW did anyone get Ace of Spades? I didn't pick it up but it looks fun as hell. I am sure it will come up again at some point.

Edit: I'm getting myself a Jabra Solemate bluetooth speaker for Christmas, I hope it's good. I hope someone around me got me the hint and will buy me a keurig coffee maker. :(

I don't know when it advances but whenever it does: I am free tomorrow if we discuss a time. Wednesday I am also free whenever.

I think I asked this once, but I forget. Do player sub stats increase and decrease every season? Or is this aspect gone since you build your own players. I would assume older players have stat decreases, but I don't know if younger players have stat increases.

I'm going to try to remember to give yearly updates on Will Meyers passing stat progression. Building him up is the main interest I have in this game at this point.

Bryant Ford's been filling Steve Smith's "speedster" role quite nicely for us. Definitely would have loved to have had both, though. My second round pick, Jesse Crenshaw (DT), recently got into the 80's ratings wise and has been pretty good too.

Vogler is unfortunately done for the year with an injury. He was shaping into a beast and hasn't allowed a sack in a bunch of games.

Waters still needs a lot of work but he's at least able to get some some snaps now. He is a fucking monster in the open field, very hard to bring down. If he can actually catch the ball we're in good shape. With another half season he'll be deadly opposite of Leopard.

my first round HB Patrick Cooper has been out for the last 4 weeks. Could explain alot of my decline :(

I get him back last week of the season i think. If not the playoffs for sure if i make it.

Good grief, I really have been doing nothing but unleashing the dragon with Meyers. I think those stats come in four games. Maybe five.

I'll have to try and tone it back now lest I carry this bad habit into next season.

So is Cutler hitting the open market?

I shook the magic 8 ball and it said chances are good.

I have other needs. Can't afford a 12 million a year hit at QB. It's amazing how the CPU bailed my ass out on what looked to be a horrible pick at the time. Maybe I should just let the CPU handle all my drafts.

The best part about it is FMT be mad. Meyers is still available for your entire defense!

Less than that since he did fuck all against the Packers in his debut.

I think Bradford's cap hit for me next year is at $13 mil thanks to the old CBA. I wish I could dump it but he ha $42 mil guaranteed. It's be salary cap suicide, not to mention having to bring in another QB.

Hey I just noticed Oliver Drake is leading for DROY! Too bad he was injured in that dumb game against Bob so I didn't have him last week and won't have him at all for the remaining games!

The Rams have over 400 more rushing yards than the 3 worst teams in the league COMBINED.

Only 17 teams in the league have over 1000 team rushing yards. 4 more teams could join that list next week. That would still leave 1/3 of the league roughly with less than 1000 team rushing yards. For comparison in the real NFL through 16 weeks all 32 teams have managed at least 1000 yards rushing. The worst team in the real NFL, Arizona, would place 13th in Madden GAF in rushing yards. Wellie is about 500 yards behind the real NFL leaders in rushing yards with 1 less week of stats.

The worst passing team in Madden GAF has 1516 yards passing this season. That is 1000 yards less than the worst passing team in the real NFL this season (Minnesota) despite only 1 week less of play. Sanjuro is about 600 yards behind the real NFL leader in passing with 1 less week of stats.

6 Madden GAF teams are averaging 30+ points per game and a 7th is at 29 ppg. Only 1 real life team is averaging over 30 points per game. The bottom teams in Madden GAF are scoring about 2 ppg less than the bottom teams in real life.

The best point differential in Madden GAF is +254. In real life it is +198. In all there are 4 teams in Madden GAF with point differentials of over 200 and 7 others who are over 100. In real life there are only 6 teams over 100.

In real life through 16 weeks only 17 players have double digit sack totals. In Madden GAF through 15 weeks over 20 players have double digit sack totals.

In real life through 16 weeks no corner has double digit INTs. In Madden GAF through 15 weeks 4 corners have 10+ INTs, and 7 more have 9.

3 more QBs in Madden GAF than real life have 100+ passer ratings. The worst rating in real life among qualified QBs in Matt Cassell with a 66.7 passer rating. In Madden GAF 12 QBs are below that number and 2 more are just barely above it.

Mark Sanchez leads the NFL in turnovers with 29. 16 Madden GAF QBs have thrown 29 or more interceptions with 1 week fewer of games played. Tom Brady has lost the ball 55 total times, second is Pharoah Phillips with 49.

Of the QBs with 1000 or more yards only 11 have positive TD to INT ratios, but this includes McNabb and Troy Smith. There are also 2 other QBs who are currently even.

The most sacked QB in the real NFL is Rivers with 47 through 16 games. In Madden GAF it is Ryan Tannehill with 53 through 15 games.

Conclusions: The GAP between good and bad in Madden GAF is more disparate than in real life. Madden is tuned in such a way to make scoring levels similar to the real NFL despite lowering of other counting stats like passing yards, rushing yards and tackles.

Either we are all horrible, horrible passers or defensive backs make far too many interceptions.

Across the board I would say that pass protection is slightly worse in Madden GAF compared to real life, however it could also be that many of us just take sacks when a real QB would have thrown the ball away.

That's enough for now, time for breakfast.

Y. Last season, I could actually make an over the shoulder throw. This season, that's a pick. There's no risk in Y. Going for that trail technique pick used to have an element of risk-reward to it and used to take some timing to execute.

4 right tackles have allowed over 20 sacks, including highly touted rookie Jumbo Jones.

I'm kind of surprised that my rookie RT with his 30 something awareness has only given up 2. He wasn't the starter initially though.

I only use Y on dead duck floaters. Anything else I'm too worried about my DB stopping dead in his tracks which I've seen far too many times. Then again I have shitty INT numbers for my defense, so there is that.

I know the feel. I hate realizing it is futile to attempt an over the shoulder pass. Nine times out of ten it is going to get picked off.

I had a good read against Smokey, had Roddy White with several steps on a streak and no saftey help..i throw the ball and appear to at least get a long reception if not a TD...nope click on interception...

Yeah. Most of my interceptions are from attempts like these. I try to throw over my receivers shoulder all the time but some how the man covering him makes an amazing pick.

Recovery time on press Y to win is too good. It's why I think FMT needs to dumb down the DB AI slider.

A guy can literally be wide open but the defense will close in. It would be one thing if the game properly factored in height, but it doesn't. A tall WR should be able to box out a smaller one in close catches. The only way to break this is with speed. Like, blistering speed. 98 or 99. Even in these situations the db ai can catch up. 50/50 catch is going to the defense 9 times out of ten.

I've had a shit season in terms of INTs. A lot of slanging but I've also ran into what you're talking about. Guy clearly appears open but once the ball is in the air the DB closes the gap really fast and it's a wrap. Even more so now than when we first started since everybody is pumping XP into MCV.

Yea, i thought i had him beat..actually i did have him beat..maybe i should have throw him open towards the sidelines then to throw a bomb in a straight line. Idk, but shit like that sucks, well not for you since you got the pick lol
