i was hoping to have a 24 hour advancement period but to be honest if i haven't heard from everyone then i'm not going to advance it. that's why i ask to post when you are done! then we can advance to step 3 for more biddings and to see whose offers were accepted or rejected

In the list its the scheme overall, but when you're on the contract screen I think it is overall overall. Its confusing and yeah I wish you could look at traits. You can look at traits on the website still.

WTF happened to Vollmer, this dude is as good as Erik Pears, something's not right.

I believe it is set aside. If I look at my salary cap info ingame it shows that I have 24 million free with a 6 mill rookie reserve, but in FA bidding it shows 18 million as my cap room.

Looks like Sony is getting smarter. AC3 and AC Liberation both up digitally at midnight PST. Its a start and first for consoles.

When do we get to sign FAs in the regular fashion? I need to fill out my roster with a couple of role players before the draft if possible and I'd rather not bid on them.

All the top first rounders for the Rams are going to come back to kill me. The contracts for Bradford and Long get really oppressive towards the end of their terms.

  • Pro Bowl
  • Super Bowl / Scouting - You can scout while the 9ers win the SB.
  • [Stage 1] - Re-signings (Note: it will tell you that same week if they accept the contract or not. All you have to do is back out of the signing screen and it will be on your weekly checklist.) If your players decide not to sign, you can franchise them or let them go to FA.

  • [Stage 4] (skips 3 for some reason) - Scouting/FA offers continued - In this stage, you can scout rookies in addition to offering FAs more/less/no money or signing them.
  • [Stage 6] (skip again) - More Scouting and FA offers. You get more scouting points. The same amount you get on a regular week. This is your final week to get offers in or take them away. Some FAs sign early so you might even have a signing or two done.
  • [Stage 7] - More scouting, more scouting points. FA is done. Last chance to spend this season's scout points.
  • [Stage 8] - NFL Draft/ FA recap - This is where we take speedy, 6'10 running backs with 95 truck and 98 stiff arm. You are no longer allowed to scout.

And that leads us to testing out the draft. I want to hold a mock draft with a few people Monday after the game or Tuesday afternoon/evening.

Things I would like to test:
  1. Ability to trade during the draft (trade down, up, whatever)
  2. Web draft ability
  3. Our connections (including chatting while drafting)
  4. Starting/stopping draft to increase/decrease the time (helps in the later rounds)

Anyone is welcome to join if you just want to see what it's like or test out your browser/phone if you can't make it to the actual draft. Of course, the picks will be completely blind because you haven't done any scouting, but it's not really about that. :p The league is called ngafmock. The pass is 'jgar' as usual. (gawd, I can't help but hear 'as youj.' Fucking Hard Knocks. Effu Les Brown!) Oh, and remember to use a coach, not a player...

Quoting again for the information. It's Tuesday and we need four more advances to be able to get to the draft for Saturday. Can we actually make this happen?

Looks like we get three days worth of scouting starting after today's advance, that's going to be crucial.

I played BF3 yesterday for the first time in a long time. Alborz Mountain is so good and one of the best FPS maps in recent memory. Graphics and scale of the map are top notch.

Then you have the apparently awful pc version of need for speed mw that can barely hold 60 fps on a 680 SLI setup. Half ass pc ports are always the best.
