I was just curious, I want to be able to actually run the ball, Smokes & FMT are the only 2 who do run on me with any sort of consistency. Splat has his twins runs, but I can't go down that road anymore.

Texans, Washington and what other one?

Smokey's main and generally most successful passing comes out of SB Tight Doubles, so just look at books that have SB Tight Doubles in it.

Compressed formations have been good in Madden for a long time and Smokey is my South bro so we've played a fair bit. I haven't seen anything that I thought was uncoverable, really.

Just stuff that can be hard to stop.

New York Giants
Colts
Broncos

I've stuck with the Bears playbook too long. Might be time to make a switch. But I did get all the way to the NFC Championship game with it, and more recently a 28/30 performance from Myers, so maybe not! The playbook is pretty solid, but has a lot of shotgun plays. I'll use them from time to time but I'm not a big shotgun play user.

I have to say I am proud of all the new Tropicans today. Such a good game. However, if you don't like it, don't blame me. Blame Soka! He is the one to convince me to buy it, and I just spread the good word.

I want to use John Madden's playbook. Can you select that one or do you only get to use it when you use him as a "Legendary Coach" in CCM?

I would be surprised if EA planned to build a spectator mode for next-gen Madden, but not for the usual bad reasons we'd throw around.

Oh fuck, I forgot about that. Now I'll have to remember to change my playbooks before every game. Damn it EA!

You have to change it before every game. The backing out thing is just because connected careers is goofy when it comes to invites.

No, I mean I'll be there in the pre-game screen after sending an invite and then a minute later I'll get an invite. Bitch, just take my invite and let's fucking go! But no, they send their own invite and refuse to accept mine, so I have to back out of CC and go join their little party.

He means that people refuse his invite and send their own so that he will be incapable of seeing them change playbooks.
