Official Madden 13 Xbox 360 Online Franchise Thread:Stat padding? Never heard of him.

Who has Matt Leinart? He had surprisingly good attributes when I used him last year, but I couldn't get used to playing with a left-handed quarterback.

Yeah, I was scouting all the QBs at the beginning and was like "wtf this must be an error!" I figured spreadsheet losers would take him before me, but I picked him up. I was going to wait 'til the next round, but I had no pick then. I missed out on a guy I wanted for that, but I like him.

I almost took Myers, but the cpu decided that was Chicago's pick.

Gonna play back up this year, but I might have my QB of the future. Just needs a year of seasoning first so I can upgrade some stats before making him the full time starter and saving a lot of cap space.

I took 3 players that were on "the list/spreadsheet" my last 4 players were all the product of good scouting.

I got a LBer in the 7th round who is a 71 OVR with 89 pursuit and 81 block shedding who was not on any website!

3 is half a normal draft... And it's not just about who you took, but who you avoided.

Now that the draft is over, can someone post the list? I want to see what was on it. The only one I ever saw was the development speed thing.

HERE IS THE LIST BUT ONLY FOR THE DRAFT WE JUST HAD

No, don't post it, please. It's for EVERY DRAFT. That's the only way the list works because drafts are randomized.

I am only posting for the draft we just had. There's less randomization to the drafts than EA promised.

keep those lists out of the thread please. i don't care if its after the fact or before. PM someone! and in the future keep that shit to yourself or keep it to PM if you must cheat. i would ask that you DON'T but it's obviously impossible to monitor so i ask that you keep it out of the thread

Fine, I was trying to be transparent but I'm not saying fuck all about it anymore.

Contract info for my guys on the block:

Clements: 3 years ~6.3 per
Leon Hall 3 years ~6.3 per
Jason Allen 1 year 4.1 mill
Newman 2 years ~2.5 per <--- awesome contract
Maualuga 5 years 2.5 per < ---- amazing contract, 94 tak 98 pow, 87 pursuit

Shit maybe I should switch to a 3-4 if no one wants to bribe Maualuga off me, so I can get dat free blitzer.

i appreciate you not putting it in the thread. as far as "Trying to be transparent", how about you just dont cheat? that way there's nothing to be transparent about!

Well, it's my fault for asking for it to be posted after the fact. I didn't realize how much info it gave. Hopefully this won't lead to people seeking it out for next time, but at least it might give them pause before they draft a suspiciously awesome guy in the next draft lest they get called out for it.

Great. Now everyone knows exactly what they were missin and will feel obligated to cheat next draft.

Blue is the best.

Everyone cheated this time, so no harm in doing it next time obviously. Can't shame people like bluemax.

I'd rather have people use guides off the field than the Madden-Students "crush the run" superguide

I can have my cake and eat it, too.

Well not really, but honestly there is no good valid reason to use those guides. If you are, you are cheating. And even though we can't enforce that, I won't have it openly talked about or shitting up this thread. You guys can discuss that shit on the sharkwaters forums.

Let's move this thread in a more positive direction. Who's going to win offensive and defensive rookies of the year!? I'm thinking Will Myers for OROY and Brandon Zuzek for DROY.

So uh, preseason seems kind of worthless. Mike Wallace & Calvin Johnson were playing TE at certain points of the game. Can we just sim past this garbage?

intangibles, motherfucker
So uh, preseason seems kind of worthless. Mike Wallace & Calvin Johnson were playing TE at certain points of the game. Can we just sim past this garbage?

Losing interest when you can't pad your stats?

XP from both in game and practice will keep it from being simmed. Not to mention fmt dicking around with settings.

Personally, I enjoy getting my new guys and certain players some PT against a user in a scrimmage setting.

Let's move this thread in a more positive direction. Who's going to win offensive and defensive rookies of the year!? I'm thinking Will Myers for OROY and Brandon Zuzek for DROY.

AFC or NFC?

AFC I'd go with Zuzek and that WR Rors got.

NFC I'm not sure.

Which receiver did Rors get? So many receiver that I wanted went a few spots before I drafted, I don't remember the one Rors got.

Don't sleep on Tyren Hill, 3 sacks in practice. He Nigel Bradham will be firing off the edge all year long. Won't tip my blitzes now, can come from right or left, be prepared!

I got my WR late. No one wanted him. Apparently because of his "slow" speed. Pretty good so far. I'm not gonna use him much, though. I have VJ and Moore to feed.

[edit]I got no weird position changes for my team. Everyone was playing their right positions, but were scrub level by the second quarter. I actually enjoyed the scrub game. Lots of fun.
[edit2]I really wanted those top DTs, but oh well. Next year I guess.

It'd be fine if the game actually subbed in a smart manner. I had Heath Miller lined up at WR from the 2nd quarter on, and Wallace playing TE in the 3rd/4th.

Was Somnia filling in for Trasher

I was getting DCX vibes personally.

sign more players for backups. or you can simply press RB on any formation and sub the guy you want in. takes like 5 seconds

Yeah, I was hoping the DTs would keep dropping, but no dice. One of them was crazy strong. There was a DE that I thought could play DT too, McClain I think.

You know which receiver I wanted to try out Ogletree, but Smokey took him. Dextrell Bashum was similar to Mumphrey, but Mumphrey had better CIT and SPEC, while Bashum had the edge in RTE and ELU so I took the guy with ELU and A speed. What's Mumphrey's release, I know they were similar, Bashum is 80+.

Too much work for what will amount to probably 2K XP over the course of 4 games.

Oh, you guys...

i already got more than that out of one game for some of my backups.

and i guess it is kind of a lot of work but it's less work than driving into the redzone against the CPU for 3 quarters and then punting so you wouldn't arouse suspicion on running up the score

Yes, please focus on a cpu game, but sweep exploits & cheese under the rug! What a commish!
