You know which receiver I wanted to try out Ogletree, but Smokey took him. Dextrell Bashum was similar to Mumphrey, but Mumphrey had better CIT and SPEC, while Bashum had the edge in RTE and ELU so I took the guy with ELU and A speed. What's Mumphrey's release, I know they were similar, Bashum is 80+.

i used that bulldozer back i got in the 5th a bit. god DAMN he is so slow! but he also didn't go down on the first hit once.... even from DT's/DE's! perfect for 1 yard or less plays!

Will Meyers will probably be riding the bench this year learning the ropes. I'm on the last year of cutlers contract so next off season will be interesting to say the least. Do I pay Jay or free space for other positions and play the young gun?

I needed a backup QB since Carr was gone (and wanted $1.4M) and Kolb was super cheap and has something resembling accuracy. Wait, how does Eli only has 94 INJ rating? Dude has yet to miss a single game in his entire career.

The Assassin Tomb missions in Assassins Creed 2 are amazing. I love figuring out the puzzle to see how I get to the tomb to grab the seal so I can unlock Altair's gear. Shame there are only six of them. Just finished the last one. Now I can have Ezio wear Altair's sweet gear.

I met Billy Gunn in a diner while I was in college. He looked like he was angry with the world and silently ate breakfast with what I assumed was his agent. He looked like he was in pain when he walked into and out of the place.

well i'm now through season 6 of the shield. it is a great show, probably in the same class as the wire and deadwood, both shows that i like a lot. but it is no breaking bad! case closed!

btw- does Taiwan still have 600 yards season goal? Gets him 20k! If McFadden was out 1 more game, he would have had it for sure. Only took him a few games.

It depends on how Breaking Bad finishes out, it could surpass The Shield. At least you got through the worst part of it, season 6. Season 6 is still better than most other seasons in other shows, but compared to the other seasons of The Shield it is a let down. Thankfully Season 7 finishes out fast and strong. I like to hear what you think after the show is over.

If Breaking Bad doesn't finish as strong as The Shield I'm going to keep it a step below.

technically you could just start one of the long practice scenarios and not complete it if you wanted to play more practice. but that still doesn't let you choose a new playbook or run plays against a certain type of defense

How about right after the Giants game? There's usually a good 45 minutes between the late games and the Sunday night game.

Crazy. The Shield season 5 is one of the all time great TV seasons. I'm not sure any season of Breaking Bad reached that high. Maybe season 2.

i'm not arguing with that. the whole series has been entertaining and forest whitaker was incredible in that season. i guess my issue with the shield is that its kind of jumbled. you have the main story arch, then you have a bunch of side stories with the other detectives. i also don't like how a lot of the series is shot.... just looks really cheap at times.

meanwhile, breaking bad is extremely focused. and if i didn't know better i'd say it was a show on HBO with how well it is shot!

Yup. Season 5 of The Shield is the best single season of any TV, EVA. Breaking Bad season 4 was fairly close, though.

I started watching Sons of Anarchy if anyone is into that. I've watched up through season 2 episode 4, I'm hooked. The end of season 1 was intense. I was split between that and homeland so I'll prob dive into that next, but since you guys are praising the shield that much I may give that a go.

I watched 3-4 eps of The Wire, couldn't get into it. :/

Homeland is amazing. The Shield is amazing. The Wire is undoubtedly the best show ever. It starts off like a somewhat generic cop show, but its universe expands each season to encompass more of Baltimore and it gets better and better. All of them are must see shows.
