Nah, dude, meaningless combos and not being able to see who is winning is the best. Clutch moments are the worst part of competitive games. Just like sports!

Watching this stream you can see how bad these guys are compared to some high end matches I've seen.


edit: Rors you can see who is winning, it shows the score next to their portrait, fail troll.

that's like saying getting yards in madden is meaningless. hey! if i get a 10 yard run that isn't a touchdown i got no points out of it! meaningless!

don't bother. rors watched a 1 minute clip on youtube from the beta so he knows all there is to know about the game!

MLG guys don't seem to know who wins until the point totals are given at the end.

That's cause they decided to do best 2 out of 3 which isn't in the game. At the end it shows who won so they are manually adding the score from 3 matches to determine who won.

Oh. Well, combos are still meaningless. All you do is build meter. You can literally toss bombs from the side as people clusterfuck in the middle and build enough win meter that way.

what are you talking about? you said there is no depth. do you think that you build your meter, press a button and everyone dies? do you not think there is a strategy as to when and where to use whatever special you decide to use?

in order to build meter and score points, you need to attack people. the more complex the combo, the more meter you build. the more meter you build, the better the odds that you are going to get some kills. a level 2 kill has a much better possibility of multiple kills than a level 1, and a level 3 much better than level 2.

stick to your wrasslin' games bruh!

lulz that is like saying i can just pick the vikings and throw deep to harvin every play and win! sure, against people who have no idea what the fuck they're doing that might work. but go up against someone who actually knows how to play the game and it doesn't happen that way.

but if the hate parade from people who have never played the game must continue.... then it must!

So your saying there is a risk/reward aspect to the different level specials. OK. That's great

There is risk/reward to every fucking thing you do in smash bros.

How would you feel good about any kill you get in Sony smash? Its almost automatic

Also people watching this stream must remember the game isn't even out, most of these people are low level players not even mid-tier. Plus people like Toro (who is winning the current match) has never been used by the public.
