Happy Romney day, anyway!

I see Smokey has gone into hiding from the nfl thread, after all that smack talk, during Bears/Texans week. No Matrix either. Only one man enough to show up so far is Mech!

All I need to do is my practice. I couldn't care about the games... I think I play Splat (bengals?) in pre-s week 3 though so I'll probably play it, though. I do like the way my line is playing so far. I'm getting some good runs with my starting lineup in.

Thank you based free agency. I think I just stole an underrated WR. 6'3", fast, has great catching attributes. Has one bad attribute, but I'll fix it this season. Just tested him out in practice, is a beast. Second year player too. Whoever cut him, I appreciate it!

I still can't wrap my mind around that. Both Ez and I posted in the thread about playing then getting disconnected and playing again. Also when you turn the game on to go advance, which FMT did since I saw him log on, it says x amount of friends playing Madden 13... Like how don't you see either of those and think to check? Just mind blowing.

Not only would he have been able to see us in the game, we were also both actively posting while we played.

He flat didn't care. I look forward to some new blood at commish, someone who actually still gives a fuck would be nice.

Well remember when he said he can't be expected to look at games to know if people ran it up or not? He can only do so much as commish, okay? Give him a break!

Thanks to whoever posted that Halo 4 New Egg deal in the thread earlier. I woke up today and the game was already delivered. Looks like having 12 hours of patience saved me almost $20.

Holy fuck I already apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. I thought the games were done and was in the middle of other shit so I advanced and didn't check. It was a preseason game that didn't affect the grand scheme of things at all aside from wasting time.

No matter what happens someone is bitching. Why hasn't it advanced, why did it advance, why are people being punished for running up the score, why are people not being punished for running up the score, why is the draft on a weekend, why isn't the draft on a weekend, why aren't there 4th down rules, I should be able to go for it on 4th down, etc etc etc

Mistakes have been made and will be made again. Such is the nature of a 32 man league

I just saw Obama's Monday Night Football halftime interview. He said the Bears can win the Super Bowl this year, so if re-elected I'd say the fix is in! Switching my vote now.

I will not name names to protect the innocent. I was wrong about him being a second round player. He was a recent 4th round draft pick.

I can see why he was cut. This is a development WR that will take a year or two to build up. So there is going to be some work into making him better. However he has some amazing building blocks to build from. This guy will be my Johnny Knox replacement. He isn't quite as fast as Knox, but his catch ability is much, much better. Dude catches everything thrown at him while Knox would drop open passes. Plus his carry rating is much higher too, so hopefully less fumbling! Knox put it on the ground too much.

Friday, Pulaski finished its regular season 8-2, winning the first seed in its conference. Pulaski did not punt in the regular season. Friday's fourth-down results:

Fourth-and-goal on 21: Pass, turnover on downs.

Fourth-and-5 own 38: Pass, first down.

Fourth-and-4 opponents' 33: Pass, first down.

Fourth-and-4 opponents' 40: Pass, first down.

Fourth-and-9 own 28: Pass, first down.

Fourth-and-1 own 47: Rush, first down.

Fourth-and-4 opponents' 42: Pass, first down.
