Game 1 vs Fire wasn't all that impressive. Game 2 was though. I want to see this lineup against some real competition.

Can't beat them so destroy them from the inside! puppey and kky took advantage of my young and impressionable angel, rtz. They planted the seeds of doubt at the Summit 2 and the rest is history
New EG does not look anywhere close to 'really good' - I hope the sumfail pickup pans out for them though... Old man fear and universe deserve a good team!

Just out of curiosity, what position did the computer take with the #1 pick? Was it someone high on your guy's boards? I'm curious if the computer cheats and picks the top guy with the early pick or if it just does fuck all. I'm curious how it drafted over all but don't think there was a place I could have checked which players it took. I know the names of the top guys I took in the first draft but probably wouldn't be able to distinguish the later round guys with the guys taken this draft aside from any with top grades.

I thought it was hilarious while I was watching the DotA2 Asia Championship America Qualifier that they mentioned there is only like 1 player from North America and he is a Canuck. Mind you the other 2 teams are mostly American but still, WTF.

They probably should've just given 2 spots to EU instead of 1 NA and 1 EU. I don't blame them placing C9 in NA since the other scenario is having Fire or Complexity at a TI level event. But I guess the ping does hurt them more since the games are played on US servers.
I don't know the top picks, but you can see on your roster who's experience is listed as "rookie".

The buttery smooth voice of Ayesee makes him my favorite caster.
I know what it's for, but they've been getting blown up.
Its worked fine plenty of times but it depends on whether jug snowballs or not. Also depends on whether he's your only core or if you have other more late game options.

The only sense of it I can make is that C9s parent company is North American based, even though the majority of their roster isn't. Which at that point what is even the point of regional qualifiers?
I'm never a fan of when play by play guys try to be analysts. There is a reason pro sports has an analyst and a pbp guy, even if the analyst is usually some moron ex player or failure coach who has no idea what it takes to be good.
C9 is american based but also before the shuffle they had 2 Canadian players and even before the post ti shuffle they had 3 Canadians. So it might just be a holdover from then. I wouldn't be surprised if they start playing on EU servers after this tournament since Aui was the one who had the worst connection to lux servers.
But now that EG isn't the same they might have to actually play through qualifiers for tournaments. So I guess NA qualifiers aren't useless after all. #NAdotalives

That looks great! I'm not good at strat-games though. How is the co-op?
The co op is pretty cool. It is an off shoot of the single player where up to 4 players pick a character and go into dungeons battling. Each person gets their own resources to use and you can pool them together. Has some issues though as the online is buggy. The text chat will occasionally cut out in game so unless you are voice chatting communication can be lost. Sometimes it is tough for someone to connect to a game. If someone quits during a game there is a possibility it will lock up at the next stage loading screen looking for the lost player. Plus you can't save your progress online. Despite these issues I'm having fun online, but I hope they get fixed.

what is dungeon of the endless? like civ? tried civ 4 or 5 (whatever the last one was) and i just can't get into those games
It is a dungeon crawling rogue lite with resource collecting, strategy elements, RPG elements, tower defense elements. It is tough to describe this game. Watch some of this video:

i miss classic rust, this new shit isn't up to that part yet.
I've put the "massacre of mcneily" tragedy behind me. I want to get back to classic rust standards. It was pretty fun building a cool base and junk. Especially with all these madden gaf folk.
