Good question. I obviously gave them credit for being fill ins (and very reliable ones at that). I'll let FMT chime in here. I think Luke has a point. The playoffs are brutal (Superbowl runner up gets insult added to injury by picking last of the returning players) enough as is..If we gave two people who didn't play a full season picks above our returning playoff people we might have a revolt on our hands.

Meh, no problem. Just do what Konex did. Place Jones as you second, roll out to your right, throw across your body as high as possible to him and watch the magic happen.

Also, it won't matter. You can punt on first down and it wouldn't matter. The defense will take care of you. You don't even have to call a perfect game.

Aaaand it will never get to 3rd and long with MJD bringing sexy back.

I agree, but since I had two All Star WR's last season and didn't do much with them (think I had around 500 yards a piece with Fitzgerald and Boldin) I will hopefully not have to rely on them as much.

I think the top team now is actually the Chargers, not the Pats. With the addition of Chambers, they have a weapon on every single position. 17 weapons. YOU HEARD ME, SEVENTEEN! And most of those players have multiple weapons, two of which are top 5 players in the whole game. Gates and LT have every weapon. They're unstoppable. If Truelize doesn't go undefeated, the season was a failure.

The patriots are opposite to what I like to play (run heavy). I could never get confident in the patriots running game. Maroney was just too inconsistent and Im not a big passer. I only picked the pats cause I always go for the home team first

Oh, those aren't according to me. That's how EA feels. I like that Manning has more weapons (cannon arm), but he's not rated higher in the overall stats.

I ran for a million yards against our best defensive player, DMarty, with Maroney. He's heavenly. <3

I know I suck. I was a better passer last year than this year for some reason and since everyone stacks against the run on me I throw stupid picks and lose .

I was still top 10 in offense, top 5 in rushing and 11th in passing (that's right 11th with everyone double covering Gates!). Having Chambers would've probably helped a lot.

I gotta figure out why I throw so many more picks than last year, its driving me nuts.

I played as the Bengals this afternoon and had 260 yards passing, including an amazing run after the catch by Ocho Cinco but Rudi got hurt and I killed myself with my crappy passing skills.

Oh Madden gods, educate me in the ways of passing!

Well, unfortunately EA's shitty netcode prevented me and Wellie from playing a game tonight, but in the limited time we got in before the game disconnected us (me playing Patriots and him playing the Redskins):

Actually, I've had few problems with Madden, only Ramirez and I think Shawn I had to direct connect to my router and then it went perfectly. Wellie and I usually have no problems but he mentioned he was on a new 360....*shrug*

I'm going to have to agree. People have had to help create blockbuster games and others had to randomly scan the internet for hours while at work, but still made the time to participate in the league!

Chris and Airbrian received gifts as playoff-able teams. Though LJ might be a different story.
