yeah so my 360 is all but fucked. no red rings yet but im thinking thats up next for it. Here is the deal. I have access to another 360 for the rest of the day today, and POSSIBLY tomorrow but thats no sure thing. So i will try to get as many games in tonight as i can if my opponents are around.

Week 12 is still locked, but I'll be around the next two nights, but not tonight.

You know...My 360 has been acting real strange lately too. I think that something is screwed up with XBL and it is affecting the operation of the 360 blade, dashboard, sending messages, sending party invites, etc. Mine is doing things similar to when the last one showed the RROD, but this one is only a few months old. The first one RRODed during the last season of Madden, so I really hope that this one isn't crapping out anytime soon!!

ugh. so i tried out my 360 again for the first time in a few days and madden worked for about 3 minutes before freezing. the problem with that was that it was not red ringing, just freezing. so i took madden out of the cd tray, turned the power off, and bashed the piece of shit into my plastic drawer that holds my games next to my tv about 10-15 times. Turned it back on and it finally red ringed.



I have a friends 360 at my place for tonight and possible tomorrow, so if anyone needs to play a game against me, hit me up. other than that, i just placed the order on xbox.com for a coffin so the long wait begins :(

Well. I can't log on to XBL right now. For the last week, it seems XBL goes to Hell after 2PM EST. I hope when the master nerds from Microsoft return from their vacations in Vegas and Tokyo, they fix this immediately.

I think this is all related to the FUBARness of Xbox Live. NHL 08 froze on me the second I tried to find an online game.

It's screwing up with my franchise even. I can't sim the rest of the preseason games! It freezes up and I have to turn off the console by hitting the button.

I still think we should investigate the possibility of a PS3 league when August rolls around later this year.

I know the argument is that not everyone has PS3s, but about 1/4 don't have our 360s either due to piece of shit hardware.

It would be nice to have a season where I don't have to wonder from game to game if mine or my opponents system will actually work.

Assuming, of course, the PS3 version of Madden 09 will be on par with the 360 version. Just a thought.

I've got a PS3, and if the games ok, I'm fine with doing a PS3 league. We don't have to be a 360 league, just cause FMT is cheap...er...XBOT!

This is getting ridiculous, btw. I was hoping the death toll wouldn't continue. Sigh. If the league is 360 again next year, we might as well not have a holiday season because holidays + shitty hardware = league on life support.

Fuck that....PS3's suck, in my personal opinion. I have played on some of my friends systems and the PS3 just pisses me off about everything from the crappy interface, shitty online system, lack of games, etc. I am absolutely not going to go out and buy another $400 piece of machinery just for Madden. Just my opinion.

Hopefully Microsoft will get their head out of their collective ass and provide us with a non-dying system....hopefully!!

Lonestar, even if your 360 was working perfectly and Live was as well, we couldn't play because I've been sick with what I think is the flu since late Saturday. Real bummer..missed New Years..I'd better not still be sick by this Friday.

Yeah, I was knocked the fuck out over the weekend, I worked and stayed up New Years...slept to 3 pm yesterday and watched Bowls. Maybe tonight...before the bowl game perhaps.
