This may go down as one of the worst NBA trades in recent memory if this kind play keeps up. Shaq has not improved this team whatsoever. Meanwhile, Marion is bitching in Miami because he now realizes that playing with Nash is a privilege. Everybody got fucked on this trade.

Marion could have contained Iguodala a hell of a lot better than anyone else on that team. They are going to sorely miss him when the playoffs roll around.

First sentence is true, second is false. Marion has disappeared from the playoffs for the past 2 years.

Yeah they are going to miss him when they're sitting at home.

Oh FUCK guys...this just got real. Look at the Suns schedule...next 12 games.

Tue 04 @ Portland
Wed 05 @ Denver
Fri 07 vs Utah
Sun 09 vs San Antonio
Tue 11 vs Memphis
Thu 13 vs Golden State
Sat 15 vs Sacramento
Tue 18 @ Portland
Wed 19 @ Seattle
Sat 22 vs Houston
Mon 24 @ Detroit
Wed 26 @ Boston

Only 3 of those are must wins...and you really can't completely count out Sacramento and Memphis played them close last time.

I also expect 4 automatic losses personally. I expect at least one loss to Portland out of the two. I expect easy losses to Boston, Detroit, and San Antonio. Any hell a lot of those games are easily losable. You never know what your gonna get with Portland, Denver, and the Warriors.

And guys the schedule doesn't really get much easier after that :O. Suns...could actually MISS the playoffs :O

The only thing im worried about is falling too far behind and possibly dropping out of the playoffs while they figure out how to make this work. Its only a matter of time before Nash gets it rolling though.

To be fair, that schedule looks very similar to what most of the playoff teams in the West are going to have to go through. The Suns, Nuggets, Mavs, Golden State, etc. all have hard remaining schedules.

ok, now, phoenix has 20 losses.

what are the odds that they don't make the playoffs?

seriously, the way they are playing... they are just 3 up in the loss column.

well, but i think the nuggets brutal schedule will garantee that they make it in. kind of funny if they end up meeting SA in the first round (3x6 or 4x5).

EDIT: looks like other people thought the exact same thing

No way they miss the playoffs. Denver and Portland's upcoming schedules look worse..

But if they don't at least get the 6th seed, they might be eliminated in the first round..

Marion is bitching in Miami? Where did you hear that?

Go back a couple of pages. He is complaining about the team not caring about losing. He's expressed disappointment in the team's apathy. His numbers are also down.

Great news!! :lol For someone who cant create his own shots or produce in the playoffs he sure has a large ego. Has he started fighting his teamates for rebounds yet?

Agreed. I don't think Portlands is to bad...although they face a very challenging end to April. Denver and the Rockets though have a really challenging schedule, and overall I expect the Suns to make it.

Not that I'm a suns fan or am supporting, but you guys sure hit the panic button for other teams really fast.

With reason though. They made a questionable trade and its been a horrible start. They barely got away with a win in Memphis, and they barely beat the Celtics when Pierce and Allen had probably their worst shooting night this season...I mean they actually went 5-25. I mean how many times is THAT going to happen?

Their allowing soooo many points per game now, and scoring has become a challenge with Shaq in the lineup.

Couldn't have happened to 2 nicer organizations!

Thank god the Lakers sucking at the Rose Garden is clockwork. Vegas wasn't on the up and up!

Did Vegas have LA as the favorites, despite their lousy 8-17 record all time at the RG?

I find it hilarious that we have to discuss the possibility of a team with 20 losses at this point in the season not making the playoffs.

I hope they don't make it. :-)

Looking at old drafts, still can't believe the Laker JV All-Stars took Chris Wilcox over Amare.

Yeah, yeah....I know we could have a whole thread on missed opportunities in the draft. In an alternate universe, Jordan led the Trailblazers to 6 championships...

The Suns went from playing 8 deep before the trade to playing 7 deep now with Shaq.

I can't stop laughing at how D'Antoni ruins his team.
