WOW. That looks incredible. Does anybody else have any audio problems with this one though? Other than that it's easily the definitive version thus far.

I completely agree with TTP here. Traditionally we'd see about 3 trailers before the game is released, I think Kojima came out way too early with the first TGS trailer, by the time we saw the second trailer there was a complete readjustment in visuals. By TGS we'd seen three trailers and clamoring to him for some gameplay. From what we've seen the gameplay just doesn't seem to be up to the point expected, and that's simply because they're showing stuff too early.TTP said:Hey hey I do agree with anyone here. What I'm saysing is that I think Kojima basically ****ed up the schedule of his unveiling and to the uninformed or untrusty gamer MGS4 may seem to be going downhill trailer after trailer, losing bulletpoint features down the road. I know that's not the case, game still more than 1 yr off etcetera, but this is how Kojima is making it look like with this videos. He should be a tad bit more cautious about what he shows. He should ADD to previous showings. Not remove (ie. destructible environments) and add something else (octocamo).
Release: Ende 2007 (Japan)
Hideo Kojima of Konamis Kojima Productions has itself in the Famitsu over the new radar in Metal Gear solvent 4: Guns OF the Patriots expressed. The radar is completely revised and would have nearly nothing more with in older episodes to do. One could actually also not call it therefore more radar: Thus it registers in a building persons, who a floor under Snake are. Release: At the end of of 2007 (Japan)
I don't think it will only work in buildings, the german text actually says:Bud said:Kojima talks radar:

Babelfish got me this:
So it works only in buildings?
Can someone translate? It's also in the new famitsu.
I think he's not coming back for mgs4.Ceb said:I know he's not in the credits (which is worrying), but has there been any word on whether or not Norihiko Hibino is also returning to compose music for MGS4? =/
gogogow said:I think he's not coming back for mgs4.
He's probably replaced by Nobuko Toda, who also worked on mgs3.
Doom_Bringer said:Did Kojima say anything about the animations? They look pretty horrible and PSOne'ish....
Also what happened to all the dust flying in the air and the APC's they showed in the original trailer? Also the German gameshow trailer had very nice spark effects and such, they seem to be missing as well :\
Overall, this is probably the worst MGS trailer yet and LP does look better than this

Doom_Bringer said:Its an average looking game. Sony Europe's PS3 games look much better
fortified_concept said:I agree with you on that. The animation of the soldiers (and only the soldiers) is bad. MKII and the Gekko though have incredible animations which you seem to ignore. As for dust and newspaper thery're right there in front of you in the trailer. As for the rest of your comments they -how can I put it- don't worth a reply.
Liquid Sector said:ok guys i am huge mgs fan, and i think some of the soldiers and snake animation didnt move from mgs2, i am sure it will be great game and i cant wait to play it, but have to admit that the trailers so far wasnt jawdropping like old mgs2 trailers!!! i expect same from these, because this is nextgen console after all, but it didnt happaned ...
anyway game will be great!!![]()
exactly what i was thinking, at this rate he will be you know what again.Wollan said:Holy dang Doom Bringer. You're barely in and you have spammed a handfull of topics with liquid lame.
Doom_Bringer said:Metal Gear game rock! I was just disappointed that it looked so early and unfinished compared to the cut scenes. Anyway my expectations are low now, I hope Kojima delivers a fantastic E3 demo

why worry?!
ITS A FACT THAT kojima ALYWAYS deliver!
so I say this once again why worry?!
Doom_Bringer said:Actually there are a lot of reasons. Konami doesn't seem to be committed to next gen.
Doom_Bringer said:Actually there are a lot of reasons. Konami doesn't seem to be committed to next gen. MGS4 is the only good next gen game Konami has shown and the gameplay segments aren't looking good.
Another thing is the lead programmer who did MGS1, 2, 3 and even ZOE2 isn't the lead programmer for MGS4.
Capcom made a lot of headway in one year but Konami seems to be struggling...we will see what happens though
MiamiWesker said:How are the gameplay segments not looking good. For one the game seems to play like other MGS games meaning it will have some of the best gameplay ever.
Doom_Bringer said:Honeslty dude the horrible animation just kills everything for me. The rest can be explaning because the game is early but there is no freaking excuse for the horrible PSOne type animation

Silent Hill and Suikoden aren't important?robertsan21 said:Dont understand how you can say that Konami isnt commited to Next gen when they are focusing like crazy on MGS4.
MGS IS Konami!
everything else they develope is not important, exept ZOE!![]()
