Giles!!!!!!!!!!

=( The guy is a ****ing beast though when he is on.. 68 pitches through 7?! Not quite as impressive as his 68 through 8 earlier this year, but pretty darn amazing.

Why does this team hate Halladay, what did he do to them? Through 8 and 1/2 I was about to kill someone, good thing we were able to tie it up due to McClung sucking. Also Aaron Hill is the ****ing man, awesome rollercoaster game all around, too bad it is probably the last game I can go to this year.

YAY! I went to the game and the Dodgers win! WIN I SAY! I was happy to see the crowd give Maddux his props Inning after Inning. Sucks that Nomar got injured but we do have Lugo to put at 2nd with Kent at 1st or use Loney at 1st. I would prefer Kent at 1st and Lugo at 2nd becuase Kent has clearly lost a step and his range is limited. :D

Los Angeles first baseman Nomar Garciaparra left the game after six innings with a strained left quad, and the team said his status is day-to-day.

EDIT: I am loving Marlon Anderson playing left field while Ethier tries to get it together. Also Little was actually smart enough to run on Piazza, Hope he continues to run on him throughout the series.

I would like to see Loney get more playing time. He was on fiyah when they took him out when Nomar cameback.

Lets go Bills!

BALCO founder Victor Conte allegedly bragged to an associate that Barry Bonds had intimate knowledge of the designer steroids he received from the Bay Area company, and that the Giants slugger took an active interest in what those substances contained, a source close to Conte told ESPN The Magazine.

Justin Kase Conder-US PRESSWIRE
A source close to Victor Conte says Conte told him Barry Bonds sought BALCO's services to "get jacked."
The disclosure comes to light amid reports that Patrick Arnold, the Illinois chemist who created the designer steroid THG, has made the same admission to a national media outlet.

What a waste of space. **** Bonds.

Whoo, Corpus Christi Hooks just won the Texas League Championship [AA].
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH ASTROS CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!!

Edit: The Round Rock Express lost in the final championship game of the Pacific Coast League. :(

So, one team wins the "AA World Series", another loses in the final game of the "AAA World Series", but the "AAAA" team can't even make the playoffs.

Meanwhile the Marlins make less than Jeff Bagwell and look like they could still take it.

You know what I always found odd...

how the NL has 3 divisions with 5 teams each. (if you can count the terrible Central, Cubs/Cards/Pirates/Brewers/Reds, a division.)

Meanwhile, the AL has a division with 4 teams. Maybe we can put a team somewhere in south/mid/east Texas, and have them thrown into the ALWest too, just to balance everything out. Maybe San Antonio or Austin, maybe even Houston.

Astros: Every ****ing one of you, save Lance Berkman, Luke Scott, Dan Wheeler, and Roy Oswalt...

End yourself.

I think you need to count again.

(Hint: The NL Central has 6 teams; you forgot Houston, amazingly enough. You can't have 15 teams in each league, because then there's a team that has no one to play each day.)

I do believe he was being sarcastic with the Houston not being a team thing, anyway Mig we can trade places if you want. Blue Jays to the NL Central and Astros to AL East?

Yeah, I read that last bit he wrote wrong, thought it said he wanted to move Houston to the AL West. Though even as a joke, you can't just have 5 teams in each division. It doesn't work that way.

I love that the Braves fans will chant "Bobby Bobby Bobby" when Cox comes out to argue a call. Be careful tho Bobby, that's Angel "The Hammer" Hernandez.

We should not be having this much of a problem beating the damn Pirates.

QFT. We need to pick up a solid right handed hitter in the offseason. Preferably one that plays or has played second base and is familiar with NYC.

The Pirates actually have been playing good baseball for a while now. They're 32-27 since the All-Star break. Too bad they started out 30-60.

Simply amazing. We can't beat the Pirates yet once we leave town the Pirates will revert back to being the godamn Pirates again.

I'm glad I had to work this afternoon-this game would have had me ripping my arm pit hairs out in disgust.

Tonight I'm gonna log off and play my Atari 5200/7800 systems and drink a few cold ones just to try and forget this game was even played. I'll catch you guys tomorrow, hopefully with an official N.L. East title under our belts.

PLEASE NO HIT THESE ****ING PIRATES TOMORROW

BTW -Karma would have it that if Nady were still in our lineup he would be playing better,we would be hitting better, and we would be the N. L East Champions by now.

"AND THEY SAVE YOU CASH,WHICH IS JUST AS GOOD AS MONEY."

:(

Well, the only positive thing I can say about this is at least now we have the chance to clinch on the 20th anniversary of clinching in '86.

Still though, what the ****.
