The way Lilly is pitching don't count on it. Oh well, I guess I can blame Hillenbrand for one of those runs with that weak ass error of his.
 
Glaus with his 18th homer, probably too late to do anything now. The funny thing is even though I made fun of Lilly he actually pitched well only giving up 2 hits which were the two homers.
 
Taubenheim vs. Robertson

Hmm, Robertson has pitched well on the road, but he is a left handed pitcher so the game could go either way. Depends on if Taubenheim has his control tommorrow.

Randy Johnson gave up a home run to Antonio Perez. Welcome to Bizzaro land.

And seriously, Sarloos gave up 2 hr-- one to Kevin Thompson. He pitched better than Moose did, but the results in the stat line aren't really there other than he got the win and one fewer earned run.

Dude, he had a sub-par outing. Quit trying to spin it, if he goes out and dominates like he has been, Yankees probably win. But he gave up 4 runs (yes, 3 earned, but not holding that runner still counts for something).

Anyway, I'm not promising anything here, but if the A's win tomorrow and the Bosox beat the Rangers three times in the next 24 hours, the A's are back in first :D

I'm not spinning it, I'm looking at the stat line and I'm telling you what happened. Why is it his responsibility to stop Cano from playing like a retard?

Can Little be any retarded when it comes to pulling pitchers who clearly have lost it? This game has gone down exactly like the game against the Mets where he left Perez in until he had given up 7 runs. And it looks like Gagne might be a lost cause again?!?!?!?!



I still cant believe Tomko was the one that broke down with Aaron Sele going strong. Kemp is a stud and Joel Guzman needs to be sent back he aint ready, Little should have Ramon Martinez playing 2nd. Dodgers need to either trade for a Ace pitcher or bring up Billingsley, I doubt he can worse than Perez/Tomko!

No idea, Little's managing of the bullpen is a complete mystery. When he had Perez in the bullpen for long relief he only pitched him 1 inning per outing. :lol

Dodgers need to hire someone to manage the bullpen for Grady. They also need to quit stalling and make move to replace Gagne in the bullpen if he's going on the D.L.

Quality starts is not a stat, and a 4.5 ERA for a starter is not quality.

At this point, I must say that I think the White Sox are the class of the AL thus far. I know Detroit still has the record, but I feel their early run this year is the same as Cleveland's run last year.

Man, Berkman just hit a ball as hard as you can hit a ball and it nailed Horacio Ramirez in the head. The ball was going to straight up center and it ended up in right field. Scary looking, but he got up and walked off under his own power.
