well yeah, heh, i cant complain too much. but it still that team grinded out to get to the playoffs and then the way that jackass steinbrenner fired buck showalter.... and gene michael. you should read the new book joel sherman came out recently with even if you arent a yankee fan. it's damn good reading about sports. i'll get the name in a second.

Ofcourse I had no idea about the Yankees/Mets thing since I was and still am in sunny California. Back then it was a few games on cable and reading the box scores in the papers.

I have not been impressed by the White Sox in their showings against the top two teams in the AL East. As it stands right now, I don't think they have the pitching to win another World Series. They have Contreras (who has cooled off a bit lately), and then that's it. Buerhle and Garland aren't anywhere close to what they were last year.
