Mike Kay: "Well that'll get you through about 3 innings."

That conversation needed more Jim Rome-Jim Everett.Al should have said something to the effect of: yeah well you ****ing suck as a play by play guy.
Kay: :O

Ahh it's a great year for baseball I tell ya.![]()
Core407 said:Okay, that one hurt.
David Justice, where are you now?!
Angelus said:Didn't mean for it to sound brutal,I'm just poking fun at the Braves. Hey its been awhile since we've been this good so cut me some slack will ya?:lol
I'm anxious to see how the remaining 9 games between the Mets and the Bravos play out,its been pretty split this year. The biggest hurdle the Mets have overcome against them is the mental one. How many times have we seen them hang with the Braves only to loose it at the end of the game? Thats one of the biggest differences with this years Met team, they have a fire abd confidence about them to get the job done, look at all the one run games they have won.

Core407 said:Yeah, I'm suprised the Mets are still doing so well. Makes me think that it's not a fluke, but actual *gasp* talent! Still, I don't see the Mets making it past the 2nd round in the playoffs, but that's just me.
Brian Fellows said:I know Glaus isnt a AVG or OB% kinda guy but would it kill him to take the first pitch every now and again? Wang has hardly thrown a first pitch strike so far today.
Oh well Lyle cleans up the mess.

R_GILL said:Meh, this is how Glaus is and always has played. If he likes a pitch he will go after it.

Dez said:He won't leave him in, he's well over 100 pitches.

For comedic purposes you guys have to read whats going on at the MLB Braves board. Its some of the worst shit I've seen in some time. Braves and Mets fans tearing at one another's throats like wild animals. I love to read that board after games, but in no way do I post there, what a ****ing mess that place is.:lol
