It's not how hard or velocity sometimes, it's pitch choice and sequence. He had Ryan Howard waving on two killer sliders, so you have two options.

1) Same pitch, same locale away.
2) Run an inside fastball in.

If I heard right he either threw a horrible slider up or a CHANGEUP (wtf?). Excuse me, but that's a real bad job by Oliver Perez.
