Jenks am cry.

At this point I've changed my mind. The Twins are more of a threat to the Yankees cos they're scoring runs now. Let's go Chi-Sox!

Between the back and forth rain delay, those Marlins annoucers again jizzing over their team, and the way the Mets were hitting for shit, this was a hard game to watch. Which made the Mets comeback totally bad ass.

He left with "elbow pain"

That's not a good sign. Hope he's done for the year. Maybe the White Sox can overtake them now.

....Probably not.

Astros icon Craig Biggio intends to play one more season, but if his pursuit of 3,000 hits cannot continue in Houston, he will play elsewhere, Biggio told the Chronicle on Tuesday.

"I am not retiring," Biggio said. "I am definitely coming back. I know I'm not done. If it's not Houston, unfortunately it will be somewhere else."

Anyone want a 41 year old guy hitting .174 away from Minute Maid Park?

Bidge will be back in Houston next season. He'll probably start about half the year, then Burke will take over, with Bidge making some starts at home.

Congrats to the Mets fans - after 11 straight years, last night's Met victory officially eliminated the Braves from winning the NL East Division.

Thanks for the kind words Siamese.

This isn't a knock against the Braves but it feels nice to not have to worry about the wild card this year. Because all too many times we had our hopes up with that thing only to see them come crashing down. I could give a damn about the post season right now, just winning the East is really something special as we haven't accomplished this since 1988...damn. I realize it maybe doesn't quite mean as much for some teams that are in the post season every year but hey when you go 15 years between division titles you sort of appreciate them abit more.

Now-today I'm gonna be the biggest Braves fan out there. If we beat Florida and the Braves win their double header against the Phillies then the East is officially ours. I'll be doing the chop even.

"The last two pitches I threw, I felt a pop and it really hurts," Liriano said.

ULNAR COLLATERAL LIGAMENT TEAR

Athletes with a history of repetitive overhand throwing activities often complain of pain on the medial (inner) side of the elbow. Patients may experience an acute "pop" or sharp pain on the medial elbow causing instability when throwing; a slower, more gradual onset of medial elbow pain during throwing; or pain after a session of heavy throwing. The patient may also experience pain and/or numbness radiating into forearm, hand and fingers, especially during throwing.

UCL tears = Tommy John.

I wish Burnett was healthy all year. Chacin too. Our pitchers are finally all pitching awesome. Except Towers of course.

Lind was awesome again, 3/4 and another double.

C'mon Mets...get the win to cut the magic number to 2 baby.:)

Mets score 3 in the 11th and the Marlin annoucers go silent.:lol

Who ya gonna call, Maroone!!!
Dan Marino doing tv commercials for shady car dealerships...oh man.

Beimel's in.. oh ****. :\ Oh, and I knew Liriano wouldnt last more than a full game back -- terrible decision for them to not sit him for the rest of the year. Sounds like he'll need Tommy John for sure.
