Cone - This wasn't directed towards you, but more towards the rules in general. I was using the example of how you use it to express why the rule requiring it is useless. We talked about it after the game and I said NOTHING in my post about the cone that I didn't say after the game. You are the only person I've played that uses the cone this way, but I'm sure many others do - this has nothing to do with you and was only an example. The cone discussion has all been done by now so there's no need to keep having this discussion.
Defense - Once I realized I was outclassed, I was really experimenting to see how I could stop a scrambling QB from sprinting out and waiting for the crossing routes to open. The problem with Man coverage is that a good WR like Ginn will always beat the CB/Safety across the field. That's why I was trying out Zone but obviously that didn't work, either. The only way to stop that is to get to the QB first, which is nearly impossible with a lineman against Troy Smith. You are right that I'm not good enough at the game and don't know the playbooks enough to counteract your any of your strategies. Plus, every blitzing LB/CB I sent was absolutely swallowed up by your line/backs. It was just a completely dominant display by the lines on both side of the ball.
QB Sprint Out - I pointed out that you only did this for about 1/3 of the pass plays, and I was annoyed when you were doing this during the game, but I didn't get really annoyed until I re-read the rules today where FMT specifically says not to play this way. Like I said, you murdered me when you played straight-up, so why would you feel the need to run those cheesy, non-designed sprint out plays? No matter what you feelings, you can't deny that you ran these plays frequently throughout the game. If that pisses you off, don't do it. It's not like you need to - you obviously are much better at the game than most.
Running Up the Score - Why are you saying I'm not classy because I have legitimate complaints, mainly about running up the score and non-designed sprint outs? The reason I didn't complain after the game was again because I didn't remember the rules and it wasn't my team that lost. I was annoyed, though, because it made the damn game drag on forever.
I don't want to turn this thread into a bitchfest, but I think I had two legitimate complaints about your style of play (one of which you didn't refute), which I voiced, one complaint about the cone rule that was general in nature, which I voiced, and A LOT of praise for your NCAA 2007 skills. There is no need to take it as a personal attack, and I even say that I would like to play you again because I learn the most when I get my ass kicked.
I apologize for upsetting you, but I stand by my two main complaints.
