Somebody needs to talk some sense into me. Between Miami's defense and the fact that Billick is saying that Lewis will split carries with Taylor, I'm giving serious consideration to starting Willie Parker(my fourth RB) over both Jamal Lewis and Mike Anderson.

You're nuts if you start Parker over Anderson IMO.

Holy hell, I had no idea that Miami was so bad against the run last year. I still don't know what to expect out of Miami's defense or Denver's offense, but I had been working on the assumption that Miami had at least a decent run defense last season.

Still, I expect well over a hundred yards and a touchdown for Parker. I'll start Anderson, but I'm going to warn you in advance that you will be blamed if Anderson flops while Parker torches the Titans.

I seem to remember him throwing down his headset in the middle of the game and stoping on on an eagles logo like a little baby. Then after the game he made some remark about how it wont take them 3 times to win it like it took the eagles. And all that bullshit about how they were playing with "house money". The guy has done enough to get on my bad side. :D

jim mora jr is a whiney bitch, fuckem

Not that I'm denying this, but explain yourself, sir. ^_-

Well, I've read a couple of things that pointed to him being a control freak and having an big ego, also the whole tension between him and McKay, which ended up with Mckay leaving(I thank him for that, btw)

However I don't know how true any of this really is so that's why I said "May".

LOL. I will take his whinning over Martz's decision making anyday of the week.

Man will I enjoy the Falcons going 8-8 this year. I estimate the SI cover story "What's Wrong With Michael Vick?" will appear in early October.

Is TheDuce actually calling someone out for their supposed excuses and justifications over a loss and telling them to facing reality? The same Duce who has to raid the local Costco of their Kleenex's whenever he rants and raves about how Carolina stole the NFC championship game from the Eagles through dirty tricks and illegal moves.

THEY HAD TO BREAK MCNABBS LEG TO WIN!1111

:lol :lol

I can't WAIT for that team to implode -- and they will. In other news, I'll raise a cold one at the kickoff of the Redskins-Bears game in preperation for the 'Skins 13-3 season.

I'm afraid that's still technically an assumption. You're making a claim that you can't verify (whether or not the word "may" was used) personally. I was pointing out the paradox of you calling Duce on that, but still doing the same thing (you both have "read something" and formulated an opinion). I'm pretty sure Gruden can be quite a d*ckhead, as it were.

And don't be so thankful for McKay yet. In a few years, when you notice you're a little cap stricken from backloaded contracts, you might not like the guy. And he has a knack for drafting not so good WRs with high picks....I think he's good at assembling a good D unit - his best quality in my opinion, but man, you risk mortgaging a future with some of the contracts that he has helped come up with....personally I don't think McKay has done much for the Falcons yet. I believe in two more years, there will be a better spectrum of acquisitions, drafts, and FA losses (as well as developed contract structures) to evaluate him on. Wish he was here though cause I fear for the future of our D.

EDIT: WRs - Jacquez Green, Reidel Anthony, Roddy White and that Jenkins guy...he has a knack for selecting WRs who just don't pan out well. Or better yet, WRs who are career #2's or 3's (or worse).

I think saying we lost because it was cold is different than we lost because our star qb took a cheapshot and was out of it for most of the game. Plus im not an NFL head coach. They shouldnt be making excuses.

Skins fans baffle me. Its like they totally forget how shit their team is and think every year is "the year".

As for the guy asking about if he should start Mike Anderson, well, yeah. Denver turns out 100+ yard rushing games almost every week, and Anderson is an old pro at their running style. Word out of camp is that he's in the best form of his career too. That shouldn't stop you from getting Tatum Bell as depth however for the inevitable changing of the guard. It'll help that Miami also will have a damn hard time scoring on the Broncs, letting them do a lot of clock control running with Anderson.

Touche. Although I didn't know Martz was the head coach when you guys won the Superbowl.

Good point. About McKay's reciever picks, well we still have to see about Jenkins and White. Based on what I've seen so far of White, he just may be the real deal.

Alright on to today's games, here's what my non-Sunday Ticket having ass lineup looks like today:

Titans@Steelers
Saints@Panthers
Cowboys@Chargers

Particular interested in the Saints/Panthers game, I think I will be rooting for the Saints as all the media hype over the Panthers has made me sick to my stomach.

Jags special teams caused a fumble off the opening kickoff, then the offense looked GREAT! only got a FG but the offense looked like it was full of energy and I loved that play with Matt Jones at QB running what looked like the Option on NFL, hehe.

I'm not liking this Saints/Panthers game AT ALL. The Saints just seem too fired up, too focused...They're playing for more then anyone in the league. And as nice as thiat is a story for the league, it's not good for the Panthers.

Damn do I feel good about this team already., Leftwich is right on the money, Fred is running good. Jimmy ain't dropping the ball, haha. And Stroud is still an inside monster(Alexander has 1 carry for -3 yards or so, haha)

3-9-KC 10 (:10) C.Pennington sacked at KC 10 for 0 yards (J.Allen). FUMBLES (J.Allen), RECOVERED by KC-P.Surtain at KC 22. P.Surtain to KC 22 for no gain. FUMBLES, recovered by KC-K.Mitchell at KC 21.

lol what happened here?

and damn just saw the highlight of KC's second TD. dude had priest holmes by the leg and he shook him off and broke 2 more tackles and got into the endzone, crazy

Carr fucking rocks! oh yea 1/2 2 yards 1 int,you the man!

Bucs D! They're back! Quake with fear NFL! WITH an offense now too!

No, but really, let us stay under the radar for now it's better this way....
