The Indy at Baltimore game is going to be awesome. Offense vs. Defense. The only problem is at some point we'll have to sit through Indy's defense and Baltimore's offense. :lol

It would be the best game ever if Indy's offense could stay on the field the whole time and try to score and our defense could stay on the field and try to score.

Because Detroit looked dominant last Monday night, right?
It was preseason. Everyone basing their week 1 picks on the Detroit/GB game could be in for a very rude awakening once Harrington tosses 3 TD's and Jones runs for 1 in the first half...

...and then gets hurt in the second half after Charles Rogers breaks his collarbone again and harrington throws 5 picks. :(

Kruza said:
Can you tell me when the Packers looked dominant during the entire preseason?

The Lions first team O-Line got RAPED by the RAMS first team D. If the Rams D is raping you, you've got some bad problems. I even noted that this was one of my tossup games, and I'd rather go with the shaky but experienced Favre then the shaky and inexperienced Harrington.

I actually think Dallas has a puncher's chance! against San Diego. Remember, Gates isn't playing, taking away one of Brees' big targets.

By tradition....I will NEVER!! EVER!!! EVER!!!! EVER!! EVER!!!! Go against my 49ers...EVER. Its like your fat ugly daughter...Yeah shes fit, yeah no one likes her, but shes the most beautiful girl in the world to you.

Anyway, fill me in on the rule(if any)..Are your picks FINAL once you post them?? Obvously you can't change them once the games start, but in the days leading up if you change your mind on a pick or two can you change them?

Is no one picking the Saints beside me? I'm sure people in New Orleans have other things to care about and don't have TVs to watch the game but don't you think the team might be really inspired to win?

Gates may be out, but I still feel Dallas doesn't have what it takes to break the Chargers in San Diego. I hope that I'm wrong.

"Are you ready for the football!"

That Monday night game is going to be bonkers. Ron Mexico for MVP.

Reality- I know, Mr. Vick will not even come close to winning the MVP. But I can dream. :)

Personally I don't like the guy, but we better get something a hellofalot better than a couple 3/4's.
Normally I'd say it's impossible for this to happen. HOWEVER... we do have matt millen at the helm. The drawbacks to this, though, are:
1) Even if he's a backup for some team, he's worht a LOT more than a couple mid-level picks.
2) Who's gonna be QB? Garcia? He's the one guy this year in the Honolulu Blue that's looked WORSE than Harrington.

omg who are you?

edit: to Barrage
edit2: lol must be a slow news day at ESPN:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina running back Rod Smart is changing the nickname that made him famous, dropping "He Hate Me" because he's become such a popular Panthers player.

Smart said Friday he will now go by "He Love Me."

"I came to Carolina and got my love," he said.

Smart originally used the nickname during his brief stint in the defunct XFL. He had "He Hate Me" stitched on the back of his Las Vegas Outlaws jersey as a statement to those who had dismissed him as a player.

But he's been embraced since Carolina claimed him off waivers in 2002, using a 100-yard kick return for a touchdown during the 2003 season to cement his popularity.

He hopes his coaches love him enough to keep him.

Smart, who missed most of last season with a knee injury, is on the bubble to make Carolina's roster and could be released Saturday in the final round of cuts.
