Gah, I'm stuck watching the rest of this shitty Giant-Cardinal game. Thank heavens I'm in a good mood following the Steeler spanking of the Tits today. Big Ben 9 of 11 on 9/11....hmmmm. Good thing prime time starts soon.

Oh god. :( Shockey injured. This is NOT a good sign.
..

I know christ the whole Chiefs team was injured. Roaf.. the other starting tackle DNP, Both CB's out. Surtain got a concussion on a INT return, and Warfield out due to 7,503 DUI's.

T-Rich out on injury.. not sure what happened. Ryan Simms who looked like he finally was going to develop into a first round pick is taken off the field on the cart after 7 plays or something.

:( damn injuries.. gotta live with em tho

Stupid friggin' Cowboys...
mad.gif

On a semi-happier note... DON'T CHOKE 49ERS!!!

Lions will be overconfident after beating the Packers. Makes them easy pickings next week for Chicago.

Bears 34 Lions 3

Book it.
Chicag is gonna struggle to up 34 points the whole first half of the season.

Shockey is fine. Mild ankle sprain. No big deal.

Man, if the Giants offense can stay healthy and just be a little more consistent, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

:lol 9ers intercept Bulger

edit: lol announcers talking about the pick as "the play of the year" for the 9ers...wtf? :lol

YEAH BJKDJFLKDJLKFJDLKJFKLDJFKLDJLKFJDKLJFDLKP PICK PICK PICK JFKDJLKJFLKDJFLKJDFLKJDKLJFD

1-0...FUCK YEAH BITCHES..EAT IT BULGER.,.EAT IT RAMS...ITS A WRAP...DON'T EVEN FUCKIN CHALLENGE CUZ ITS GAME OVER ASSHOLE!!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE..WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NINERS 4 LIFE

Fuck the Saints.

I, like everybody else, wanted them to do well. But they get a fluke-ass win over Carolina and suddenly their "America's Team"? I hate anything with "america's" in the name. What the FUCK.

Today's been a fluke-ass day. The Giants, 49ers and Dolphins doing well are testaments to that. Eventually, all will go back to normal and you bitches will be eatin' crow Drinky style.

p.s.: To be honest, I have another bad feeling about next week's game. The Patriots...Shit. Oh well. If we can almost make the playoffs after a 1-7 record at the start, we can sure as shit make it with a 0-2 record.

P.P.S.: Steve Smith is the man.

bah, so close....cant believe that terrible throw by bulger tho, we only needed a few yards to tie it up

oh well, 15-1 isnt bad

lol dude, you just lost to the 9ers and you're talking 15-1? People can laugh at the Panthers for losing to the Saints, but the 9ers are 10x worse then the Saints :P

"oh well, 15-1 isnt bad"

It is when you lost to the Niners. :lol

And fuck the Texans. Get your heads out of your asses and play for real or your fanbase will be turning on you quickly. Honeymoon's over bitches...Playoffs or bust this year.

Frank Walker inted it to bring our fucking TO ratio to 0 thank god.

Our offense is scary, no one realizes it. :lol Shockey, Eli, Tiki, B-Jac (I TOLD YOU FUCKERS HE WOULD OWN, I TOLD YOU ALL), Plax, Toomer at #2. It's impossible to defend all our weapons, I am abusing the shit out of people in Madden because of it. :lol

Nice win for the GMen, our perfect season begins NOW. :lol at the three way tie in the NFC East for first. Where are the fucking pundits talking shit now!? Fucking idiots I swear. I called it right off the bat, Cowboys will be the surprise team of the year, Giants will be at or above .500.

Who is this fuckin fool talking shit only after week 1? Where were you during the pre-season, chump?

The Rams losing to the niners.

The Packers losing in Detroit.

The Panthers losing to the Saints.

I don't feel so bad anymore about barely losing by two points to Washington, on the road, with a rookie qb starting.

of course you shouldn't. We were obviously the dominant team. You should feel good that you kept it close. Noone with any kind of football knowledge expected you guys to win. When the season's over, you can be proud that in week 1, you lost to the eventual Super Bowl champions.

Seriously, did you watch the game? The 9er's looked legitimately good. The 9er's D looked great.

well considering it wasn't on here, no I didn't. I just saw the last minute when the cut from the Chargers/Cowboys game.

Ok, well if your post contained nothing but pre-season speculation it was worthless. Thanks.
Really, I'm not 9er's fan or anything but their D looked very good, and Rattay was quite solid.. maybe even better than that description.

BTW Fifty, thank you for declining that Leftwich and Minn D for Hasselbeck trade, I would be bashing my head into a wall if that actually went through!

Ok my bad, calm down.

I HATE The Saints and all the good fortune that's about to come to them.

MARK MY MOTHERFUCKING WORDS, this team will get to the superbowl. I thought deep playoff run at first, but after watching the clusterfuck media punks all up in their ass, this team can do NO wrong.

......what's that? A hurricane is coming towards The Carolinas?!

I'd be wrong for smiling...........but I am.

I just cemented the Panthers an 0-16 season.

I didn't mean to come across as being a loon, sorry :) I just watched the game and wanted to convey that it didn't feel like some weird fluke. The 9'ers legitmately looked like a solid team.

Haha, no prob. I'd be pretty funny to see the 9ers win the NFC West (but that's probably getting ahead of ourselves)...It'd be great just to see FMT's reaction :)

So I pick a team I think will go 6-10 or 7-9 on week one, on the road, in an eliminator league.

Anybody want to buy some crack? Apparently I've got an over-abundance.

Some early revisions to my preseason thoughts:

Denver is actually the worst team in the west, Kansas City might be pretty good. Or the Jets are very, very, very horrible. I'll get back to you on that.

Philly isn't just going to win the NFC, they're going to clinch home field advantage by next Monday.

Was I saying something about having worries with the Steelers offense? Must've been the crack talking.

JJ Arrington...how quickly can I drop him in my fantasy league? Ah, that quickly.

Washington and Chicago still suck. Just wanted to point that out.

The Rams and the 49ers also both still suck. And I'm still half-retarded for picking the Rams in the eliminator group. And Arizona can still win that division at 7-9, as I predicted earlier.

I didn't get to see the game, but if you'd told me that the Lions would score 17, I'm pretty sure that about two hundred and seventy fifth on my list of predictions for the game would be "Packers lose by two touchdowns." The personal tragedy/Brett Favre playing out of his head connection has officially been severed.

Also, Eli Manning is still the fourth best QB out of last year's draft.

If we can almost make the playoffs after a 1-7 record at the start, we can sure as shit make it with a 0-2 record.

It all rides on winning every game in October. After that beat the Saints once or the Falcons once, then win all the games that 'should be' easy for them, and I can see them in a money position heading into the playoffs.

But that 0-2 start will fucking HURT.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 49ers win the division if the other teams keep playing like they did today. Now, there might be a little bias in that statement. ;p
