Did anybody see Grady Jackson for the Packers yesterday?

DAMN! Does that guy even need to practice, or do they just tell to eat while everyone else runs sprints.

Your fucking kidding me...god damnit this team is cursed :(

edit: really this is so depressing...

Rosinski broke it at 11 on his radio show. I didn't want to believe it then, and don't want to believe it now. Jenkins with two season ending injuries in a row, not good. Fuck.

Just Confirmed on John Fox press confrence on ESPNEWS Kris Jenkins out for the season...even though we are big rivals, I have alwasy liked Jenkins espically after the 2003 season when , I thought he was the best DT in the League...I hate when injuries happen...

This plus losing to the Saints at home?

YOU CANT BEAT THE CURSE BOWSER!

Rookie of the Day: Cadillac Williams The other Alex Smith Cadillac Williams Cadillac Williams

PAGE 2 Bucs love!

Scoop Jackson: Tampa Bay will have the same record as Kansas City by Week 8.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Skip's View: Cadillac is one smooth ride

By Skip Bayless
Page 2 columnist

It's rare that an NFL rookie leaps off the TV screen in his first game. But this kid is extremely rare.

Watch the Tampa Bay Bucs pile in the backseat of this 500-horsepower Cadillac and go along for a wild-card playoff ride.

Ummm, folks? He's just a rookie. Really.
Carnell "Cadillac" Williams was the best back I saw on Opening Sunday, and I saw some very good ones -- Larry Johnson and Priest Holmes in Kansas City, Will Parker in Pittsburgh, Edgerrin James and Jamal Lewis in the Colts-Ravens tug-a-war. But no back displayed Cadillac's blend of power, burst and slither.

I wrote before the draft that I would have taken Cadillac No. 1 overall, and what I saw from him Sunday at Minnesota only strengthened my conviction. The Vikings have been as overrated as Cadillac remains underrated.

EDIT: Oh....

Pole positions on the road to Motown:
Steelers, Bucs
Chiefs, Lions (why not?)
Patriots, Eagles
Colts and Eagles/Falcons winner

The Vikes won't win in Chicago, they never do, but I'd be shocked if we didn't give them a hell of a game in the metrodome late in the season.

Uh, Caddy's numbers are inflated by that huge run at the end of the game in mop up duty. He wasn't very effective for the entire game.

Yeah, the Vikes run defense was pretty good for the most part. How can Bayless not be more impressed with Parker or Johnson? O_o

So TO was mad because the guys were saying they could win without him? He is dumber than I thought.

Oh come on, is it so hard to understand that his ego/feelings could have been hurt a bit? While I think he's still a big baby, I understand the whole thing a lot better now :lol

And as a Saint's fan for over 20 yrs...F*ck all you hating on the Saints coverage..I for one am enjoying it....Geaux Saints ...

Really? A "Saint's fan for over 20 yrs" is enjoying the Saints coverage? Stop playing! :lol

bob there is no way in FUCK the bears are going to beat us. you guys had to depend on 2 bullcrap calls by the refs to beat FUCKING KEN DORSEY LAST YEAR! there's no way you are going to get close to us this year.

but back to the rams niners game, seriously soulja even YOU have to admit that mike martz is probably one of the worst coaches in the league in regards to playcalling and managing the game. you will NEVER EVER be a true contender in this league if you are putting up 56 passes a game. and the kicker is that you don't do that shit AGAINST THE 3-4! played RIGHT into our hands with our blitzing schemes. the way to beat the 3-4 is to run right at it.

i'm anxious to test our team out against the eagles next week. if we can protect rat as well as we did on sunday against the blitzing eagles (which is probably a pipe dream to be honest) then we will be in the game. but damn we need to get our running game going. gore had some nice runs, i think if barlow sputters out in the first quarter we need to get gore or even hicks in there. 14 for 22 is a fucking JOKE no matter which way you cut it. there weren't many open holes, but even a closed hole is good for a few yards here and there. barlow is jukey mcjuke in the hole, he needs to hit that shit with some urgency

THIS IS AWESOME!

I have been saying this ALL along, Jeremiah Trotter, dirtiest player in the game today.

Dirtiest player my ass. Can't believe I'm defending an Eagle, but he didn't deserve to get ejected, Mathis did.

Wellington said:
He may have defended himself, but he is still the dirtiest player in the game.

He didn't throw a punch. That's the only thing that should matter in this incident.

Fucking NFL refs strike again. They will be the downfall of this league.

:lol i dont know why but i can just see a fight breaking out in like the second quarter and all of the sudden Trotter Comes running out of the locker room all WWE style with the anouncers yelling HERE COMES TROTTER, HERE COMES TROTTER!

Its all a conspiracy to keep this game close and pump up those ratings!! :lol :lol Seriously, after watching it like 5 times Trotter didnt nothing to get himself ejected. Reid should throw a red flag out before the opening kickoff.

Dammit. The one pregame show ever worth watching and I can't see it because I don't have ESPN. Fantastic! They'd better show it later.

What the hell happened? I missed it!

Yes and the mighty arm of Craig Krenzel was such a beast the niners could not overcome his power! :lol

Kyle Orton will be in fine form by the time the two teams play. I expect Bears domination and a win of at least 20 points.

As for the Vikings being overrated? Yes. Yes they are.

I actually saw it that way too, then I thought of something....

If you were to take away one or two major runs from an RB during a game, very few RBs would EVER have impressive numbers....impressive numbers are gained on huge runs...

He was dragging around Mathis by the facemask, and he at least attempted to punch him. They both have to be thrown out in a situation like this. It's not like Mathis ran up to Trotter, punched him, and ran away. They got into a fight. Both participants in a fight get ejected. Much like during a game, if you get shoved the guy who did the shoving won't likely be penalized. But if you shove back, you will. Trotter fought back, so he's gone. Dumb rule, but rule.

This game is going to rock :lol

Man, I hate pundits. The ESPN crew are flipping out like this was the Hindenberg.

STUART: "This is pure chaos, god help us all!"

JAWS: "I've been in the game for 30 years and I have NEVER seen a scuffle! Unreal!!"

TJ: "I DEMAND to see the video tape! It was an open-faced punch! Free Trotter!"

MORT: "It's bonzanza down here! OMG wtf i report injuries!!"

STUART: "Oh the humanity!"

MICHAEL: "Raaaarrrr!!!"

THIS IS WHAT FOOTBALL IS ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FUCK YES!

I agree. It's also about hits like Marlon McCree laid on Ernie Cromwell yesterday. Made Sportscenter. What they didn't say was there was a 15 yard penalty on the hit. I thought I was there to watch a football game, but the refs say I was mistaken.

And now they have the tribute to America on in the background, this is so surreal. Cause nothing says America like football brawls!! :lol

I think one of our scrub players should go up and punch michael vick in the face in hopes that he punches back.
