Yeah, so I turned off the broadcast when the clock hit all zeroes.

This Favre on the horse trailer thing is just a joke that everyone on GAF is going along with, right? Right? They can't be that far into the realm of self-parody, can they?

Goddamn it. I starting to lose my patience with the fucking packers. Right when they are coming back they get a fucking penalty. And why in the fucking hell does Mike stupid ass Sherman take his time when his team is losing the fucking game.

I have never understood this. Why to coaches let their team run out the clock by going slowly when they are losing. If i only had 10 minutes to finish an exam i wouldnt be going slow as hell. I would speed my shit up and try to at least answer the remaining questions.

This same shit happaned against the browns and tampa bay. Your not winning the game yet you let your offense take its sweet as time. Sherman is the main reason the packers are losing. Hes a horrible play caller and it seems like nobody wants to paly for a team that he coaches.

I'll be the first to admit that favre isnt what he used to be but this shit is not his fault. Who is the one who calls the dumbass plays.

I probably aint the first to say this but i really think Sherman should be fired. I know that if they lose next sunday my dream will become a reality. The packers will never reach a super as long as dumbass Sherman is the head coach. I Fear what another packer loss will do for my state of Wisconsin. Milwaukee as a whole just fucking cried.

So what are the odds on the "First Mike to get Fired This Year" sweepstakes? Tice still at top? Or is it Martz? Sherman? Nolan?

Is it possible for a 3-way tie between Marts, Tice, AND Sherman?

There is talk all over Wisconsin of removing sherman as head coach. This is all mostly his fault. He doesnt know how to draft, he cant retain good players, and hes managed to make a good offense into a complete piece of shit. i dont know how he still has a job. The Milwaukee Journal sentinel is going to be all over his ass tomorrow. Like i said before, if the packers lose against the saints on sunday its pretty much assured that his ass will be grass. Me and many other packer fans whould love to kick his ass right out of our beloved state.

What the hell? I turned it when the panthers were up by like 3 tds and they only won by 3 points? They have some talent but they are going nowhere fast. Ive never seen a team more willing to give games away.

GAF has ruined Green Bay games for me...all I could think about during the Brett Favre recap towards the end of the game was, "the NFL thread denizens must be losing their minds right about now" :lol

The sad thing is he's fucking so right. I don't understand going into a prevent defense with fucking 10 minutes left in the game. Tough defense through 3 quarters yields 13 points. Soft defense for the majority of the 4th yields a blown 19 point lead. If we had done the soft defense with 2 minutes left, the game wouldn't have been in doubt. I mean, if the Panthers give up 29 points to a team without it's #1 wideout, without it's #1 back for most of the 4th quarter, and with an already dicey offensive line that just went to shambles because of injuries during the game, I hate to see what would happen against a more talented, disciplined team. I'll take the win, but I've never been more angry or embarrassed with one.

To be fair, though, Driver CAN light it up on a deep route and the Carolina secondary aint exactly full of heroes. I'd be more perplexed by the pass rush totally dying, or the complete lack of blitzing, than I would be at Fox dropping 4 to 6 for every play.

The lack of blitzing falls on Turd-ovac. I have no idea why a D-coordinator is so afraid to blitz. I agree, Gamble has looked shaky at times, but Ken Lucas has been very solid, and Will Witherspoon is a great coverage LB. I, too, am perplexed by the inability of the D-line to do anything late into the game.

BTW, no more excuses for Julius Peppers. He should've been able to get at least one sack against this makeshift offensive line, but couldn't. He is the catalyst to this defense but hasn't been able to do much. 0 sacks through 4 games is unacceptable.

If he had scored a touchdown, would that have forgiven his bad D game? :)

by the way, i need to change my icon to a detroit lions QB gif, haha. might be fun to have a constant reminder of how much we suck.

goddamit, Griese!
As much as pretty much everyone here hates Favre, I think we all agree that he's still a very servicable QB(christ, there's Bollinger, Losman, Wright, Orton, etc. all starting)
The team around him just blows, and I LOVE it. Sherman has always seemed like a prick to me, but now I think I actually can see how bad of a coach he really is.

I'm standing by Joey. Sure, he sucks ass. But he's all we've got, and is a helluva lot better than Garcia. To show my support, I've got the highlight reel of Harrington as my avatar.

Man Brett really has to be rethinking that decision to come back this year now... saw a clip on the news this morning from the game last night catching him on the sidelines just sitting there and shaking his head sadly....

Has Brett Farve Roy Jones'd himself? (hung around too long).
