I am not sure how this works.. Why is it already over if it's only reporting 23 percent??

What about the other 67 percent?
If you're asking about the Republican side, the lead is too big, it matches the exit polls, and all the statistical data supports the results that have been tallied thus far with a margin of error small enough that you can call the winner with a high degree of certainty.

On the Democrat side, on the other hand, all bets are off. The vote tallies are still close, and they don't seem to reflect the exit polls we were hearing earlier, so it looks like we're going to have to wait for the full vote to be counted on that side before we know with certainty who won.

The "Up not down" bit in Huckabee's speech reminded me of Kodos' (disguised as Clinton) debate speech in the Simpsons.

"My fellow Americans. As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball, but tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom."

I have to wonder hom many people who claim to "quit the USA if X happens or doesn't happen" can actually back up that claim?
I remember a lot of "I'm moving to canada" claims when Bush was re-elected.

Anyone watching the ABC coverage just see that shot of McCain's wife in the red suit? She's hot as fuck. How did McCain land a blonde bombshell like that? My man!

Im not really happy about Clinton winning... but at least this makes the race a lot more entertaining. If Obama would have won it would have been over basically and I would have had nothing to watch the rest of this month.

I'm guessing by being a famous politician and military man:P

Its still below 3000.

A 3000 vote lead is a lot.

Think of it this way: Hillary will still be getting votes from the rest of the precincts. Unless everyone stopped voting for Hillary from this point on, then the chances of Obama getting 3000 more votes past Hillary is unlikely.

As much as I like Obama, it's time to call it.

Jeb Bush would probably win this election if he ran. You'd be surprised how different he is from his brother and father.
WTF? Sure, he is different . . . he is even more of a religious nut than Dubya! :lol

MSNBC has the difference at 3326, which is a huge boost from before.

I want to see Hilary's victory speech. To see if it is ROUSING and inspires HOPE and DREAMS.

:barf media narrative :barf

Man, if it's not going to be Obama, then Edwards needs to be the Dem candidate. He's got a better chance of beating the Republican nominee than Clinton does.

Edwards is toast, but if he drops out and endorses Obama then Obama is in good shape to win the nomination, even if he does end up losing today.

I haven't seen that from him at all. Of course, maybe he's totally different than he was as Florida's governor. He was an awesome governor that did great things for the state. Plus he's actually got this weird magnetism thing, like Obama does, where when he enters the room everyone pays attention.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

Edwards, you need to drop out tomorrow and endorse Obama.

whoever said Huckabee is the best GOP speaker of the bunch is wrong - LOOK AT MCCAIN SET THE CROWD AFIRE!

snore.

Ha. I thought of the exact same thing.

Also, I heard a rumor somewhere that "Mac is back." Can anyone confirm?

Huckabee eloquent speaker coming up with such biting quips as "We need to take america UP and not down!"

Up indeed Mr. Huckabee.

We must move forward, not backward. Upward not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

Less than 100,000 votes cast on the democrats side and 35% precincts reporting???? I thought there was a projected 500,000 people who voted in the democratic primary

I think Edwards is in a HUGE position of power right now. He has to drop out, but he can endorse whoever he wants to. The question is, who's going to offer him the better deal?

Oh yeah, Obamaniacs don't worry too much. At the end of the day it doesn't matter who wins, because each side sends delegates in proportion to who polled what. This close to call means maybe a 1 or 2 delegate difference.

Oh, as a Canadian observing this, I have one more question: what exactly determines who gets to be the democratic presidential nominee? Is it whoever wins the most primaries?

BTW, Hooksett county has been fixed.

Also, fuck stupid New Englander contrarianism. JUST FOLLOW THE FUCKING SCRIPT FROM IOWA YOU PIGFUCKERS.

Easy. The larger precincts aren't in yet.

Like electoral college. States have delegates. Most delegates win.
