Maybe because Brewer is one of my favorite players, and one of the best young d-men in the league...
...or maybe because Woywitka is supposed to be a really good prospect...
...or maybe because Pronger is definitely gonna cost more (the Blues are unloading wages) and I'm still used to the Oilers not being able to hold onto high-profile players...

...but you gotta hand it to Lowe for coming up with the most innovative and most unexpected transaction thus far - past midnight no less!

Still don't know if I like this Pronger thing.
The Oilers are putting all their defensive eggs into one basket (at least right now).
Our defense has always been pretty solid, albeit lacking offensive punch (especially on the PP). If the Oilers should splurge anywhere, it should be up front....

...but I dunno, Pronger is so damn good that it might just be worth the risk.

We'll see.
Lowe is far from done. This new NHL is fun! =D
