Canucks got a prospect named "Funk". I think he should play for the Canucks just because... haha :lol

A point-per-game player isn't good enough for the Flames. I'm saving this post for the inevitable playoff choke.

41 year old with a point per game in the Preseason. I'll take Sutter's judgment call here thanks.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Holy shit, what a battle between Lucic and Neil.

Even as Red Wings fan I was mostly interested in seeing Gustavsson tonight. Good thing the Wings had like 3 shots on goal in that period.

What the fuck with you guys ripping Toskala??? Did you even watch the game? He was totally hung out to dry, faces over 30 shots in 2 periods and had to stop a breakaway with 20 seconds left in the 2nd. He actually played well.

I love that last segment. Was that a Maple Leaf that literally SHATTERED after a collision? :lol
yeah, which is weird, considering Lindros was still on the Flyers when they made that intro

Meh it shouldn't have gone to the shootout in the first place.
D's fault not Toskala. 33 shots in just over 2 periods and they were VERY good shots, nothing easy about them.
Toskala was pretty much interfered
with on the 2nd goal too that got the Wings back in it. Know your hockey man.

He's my dark horse this season. People don't know him now, but soon fans of other teams will be craving the "Swedish Rocket". Dude is gonna be a beast in the NHL, mark my words.

also, i'm now taking bets on how many times Manics refers to the title of this article during the upcoming season:

"Canadiens downplay importance of perceived size issues"

:lol :lol :lol

The 29-year-old Gomez had a career high 84 points in 2005-06. Last season with the Rangers, had had a comparitively sparse 58 points - still an impressive point total though, by most players' standards.

Really, TSN? Really?
