Now the Pens get to enjoy the comfort of Pronger for most of the season.

Kingpen said:Whats the book on Martin Skoula? He just got signed as the pens 7th d-men. I remember he was sort of promising as a rook in Colorado, but I lost track of him over the years.
Can any Wild fans give the lowdown?

He has the work ethic to do so, but I'm not sure he's as talented as both the K Bros...Solo said:While I wish we had shipped out the K Bros, I am glad Plekanec is still around. He had just as awful of a year as those two did, but I think hes going to bounce back nicely.

Eh. He's good but that does seem a bit too steep. It could be worth it in the long run.Fixed1979 said:Canes just extended Cam Ward - 37.8mil over 6 years. Even though he's one of the best in the league, the cost seems a little steep.

Settle down man, it's just hockey. No need to yell at Forza cause he pointed out the Habs have nobody willing to lead.AIRic said:First, the rumor about Markov not wanting to be captain is false. He never reject the offer, and he's more vocal on and off the ice this pre-season. He was a A last season, and I think while he wouldn't make a great captain, nobody can deny his on-ice leadership for the team.
Second, It's Sergei Kostitsyn, not Andrei, that was suspend for missing his rendez-vous in Hamilton. He was never considered a leader, just a good young player with attitude problem...
Damn ignorant hater. smh.
GSG Flash said:Judge Baum is a clown. He wasted all that time and made a decision that he could have made weeks, or even months ago, and to that all I have to say is L.O.fucking.L.
Not that I necessarily disagree with his final decision though, the NHL should be allowed to sell teams that play in their league. But I think the NHL now knows that the team is probably not gonna rebound in Phoenix without a playoff appearence this season, there was way too much damage done this summer.
Pochacco said::lol Coyotes. All that time in court and we're back to square 1. For what it's worth, I think the judge made a rational decision. But damn did it take long. Now what? :lol I guess the NHL will reluctantly buy the team and then pawn it. It'll obviously be interesting to see where the team ends up - Phoenix (unlikely but possible), Hamilton (unlikely but a little more likely than before), or some other market like Kansas City (possible).
