Matt has consistently been tied for worst character (with Julia of course), but this weeks episode made him sort of awesome in all his patheticness. I mean come on! Going from getting dumped by a severe burn victim for being unattractive to doing your sister!!! How much better could it get.

Oh and I agree the Eden writing has been sort of weak. I mean you have this incredibly hot chick and they are totally wasting her!! I also hope to god that Julia is dead. She has been SO annoying the past 2 seasons if not 3.

Is next week the finale (tv.com says so)? Lol, I love this show. This season has been entertaining as hell with the new eye candy, more outrageous storylines, and Christian back to himself. How many more seasons is this signed for?

SO if it's near the end of the season, how does this compare to 3 (which I found meh) and 4 (which I didn't bother to watch because it seems like nobody liked it).

It's better than 4.

So anywayz. Matt is fucking
his sister
. Julia
figured out what was killing her only to be killed by Eden after she found out
. Sean has
a crazy batshit insane bear making psycho elderly lady after him, whose choice to kill is stuffing her victim with teddy bear filling
. Christian
murdered the AIDs girl by fucking her off the balcony
.

Can this show be any more insane? I love it!

Julia's not dead. We saw her in the flash foward episode about Connor.

3 was slightly worse than this, I think. This is miles above 4 IMO. It's been really over the top the entire season, so if that turns you off, don't watch it. Aside from one or two episodes, I've really bought into the craziness we've had this year. If you do watch any episodes, I hope you enjoy it, but I can't promise anything.

Just saw the whole season. It was actually pretty good surprisingly. I'm an LA fan through and through and I didn't think the new setting would work, but it did. A lot of the characters and plot twists were pretty awesome. Absolutely absurd, but awesome.

I enjoyed this season more so than 3 and 4 thats for damn sure.

Can't fucking wait for season 6. :)

the season has picked up. I still think they relied too much on old plotlines and characters which was disappointing. Matt finally has a storyline that isn't TOO annoying. The girl that plays Eden, while ridiculously hot, is a TERRIBLE actress though. I feel like im watching a bad soap opera everytime she has a line. And no matter how over the top the show is, for some reason the whole storyline with Shawn being a primetime Hollywood actor by day and still having the time to be a plastic surgeon at night kind of bothers me. I dont know anyone else feel that way?

I missed a few episodes, who is the batshit crazy lady who
Stabbed him at the end? and stalked him during the episode? and how did he get involved with her? Think Eden confessed?

In no way did Eden
confess
. It's just not in her genes. The story line with Juia is pathetic. You can't get any more soap-operatic than
retrograde amnesia
. And WTF is up with Sean telling Julia
they were still married
???

I almost felt that the whole office would be singing Kumbaya in a circle with the way things were going with the speech from Liz on how they
were well known in Miami for their talent as surgeons and should do the same here in L.A.
PFFFTT

Good stuff with the crazy lady, but I agree with the spoilers above. How the hell??

Overall kinda meh for the season. It started well, got boring, then ended pretty well.

To answere Milabrega: The crazy lady was
Sean's "agent" whom he met on the set of Hearts and Scalpels. She was never really an agent, just your average nut-job who owned a little kiosk business at a mall making and selling build-a-bears.

This episode felt really rushed to me... as if they needed a couple more episodes to really tie things up.

Yeah kind of surprised about the ending, although I don't think anyone thinks he is actually dead. I think I would have a bodyguard after all the shit these doctors have gone through in the last 4 seasons. Also, very funny they always play that "psycho" music before that lady appears on screen:lol

holy shit at crazy bear lady. I know Sean won't die, but he must have been stabbed 5 times with that gigantic knife. Do you think she took out Liz on the way there?

Ridiculous finale! Holy shit! Also, isn't this only about 2/3 through the season? I thought I read somewhere that this season is supposed to be 21 episodes or something.

Great job hiding those spoilers there. :lol

from wikipedia (not the best source but I've read this before, this is just the easiest source to find)

Nip/Tuck has finished production for 14 of the 22 new episodes, although it's unclear whether the 22 will be two seasons or considered one long, expanded season. Regardless, the 22 will not run consecutively because of the writers' strike. Nip/Tuck's fifth season officially debuted on October 30, 2007, with the finale airing on February 19, 2008. The remaining 8 episodes (15-22) are going to air in the Summer of 2008.

It definitely felt like the end of part 1 of a 2 part season. If it was the end of a normal length season I'd have been more disappointed because they didn't wrap up the biggest plotlines..just extend them.

I hope that's right. A summer without Entourage will just feel unnatural, so hopefully Nip/Tuck will be able to make up for it.

Just finished watching season 5. Pretty average if you ask me. Had its good moments but overall it was a dissapointment. Btw do we have any news about the summer episodes?

They all feel rushed to me this season. It's like they are skipping scenes since they changed the episode duration from 50-52 mins to 42-45 mins. And I agree the fast-forward episode was a fucking retarded move and it still hurts the show. I think they should just ignore it from now on.
